Hey Parkin, Lord of the Turn Timer, you know that spacetyrantxenu guy? He really underbuilds spearmen, it's almost all dogs. Plus almost all his troops are out east. You should probe him a bit.

I've decided to let you have it without any additional harassment. You'll even be able to chop through those jungles to get to the Gems I was originally planning on blocking you from. However, I've had my sights on that spot already as well since it'll be my only source of fish. You obviously already have tons based on your massively high food production. So hopefully you'll let this one go.
There just isn't much land available between us, and most of it is covered in jungle. You're better off heading north and east at this point.

Valley was 1st ring city to me. It definately wasn't yours and it seems the only reason to "give up" the control was to fool me to false sense of security, while you march your troops against my peaceful sentry. I'm glad you got what you deserved wink. Only unlucky part for you was the amount of hits you got in. After all your best odds of winning were only ~60%.

What is the plan with the workers? Maybe you're trying to lure me playing some alarm clock games wink.

Now I'm again ready to forgive. Just move all your troops inside your borders and don't ever come further east. I promise to leave you alone then too.

I sent 3 spears in that stack, the only way that's underbuilding is if you killed them all since I last logged in tongue

@LP: you scouted the land between us, I don't think you're in a hurry to come this way. But if you've a mind to attack just keep in mind: CG3 archers. Their arrows will blot out the sun. I'm sure there are squishier targets in your area of influence. And we all know Mao loves cheap city walls since he's "utterly broken" as an OP leader. duh

spacetyrantxenu Wrote:Plako, if you decide to settle north toward us we should probably discuss what makes a good, non threatening, non hostile border between us. While we've cheered at the awesome work your medics have done so far, we don't really want to see it up close nod

It looks like the halfway point between your capital and ours is about where the grass stops (bordered by the desert tiles to the NE and plains to the W, NW, and N). That area is about 7 or 8 tiles north of your capital. All that brown land to the north of it would serve as a nice buffer area between us since I'm sure no one would want to rush settlements into a big patch of plains (without resources or water? I don't have a recent screen shot of it).

I think I'd like to get 1 city in that wasteland area. Would it be alright, if it overlaps couple of tiles from your existing city? That spot is low in priority order so you most certaily would win the cultural fight there.

I don't even know what "1st ring city" means.

As for the big ole cluster-f*ck we got going on right now.....well, I'm anxious to see what happens when you log in. smoke

PS. I would love it if you would email me or message me to let me know when you are heading in to play (if it's not between 1am & 9am EST), as I'd love to watch. None of my units have any movement left, so it'd just be to pull out the popcorn and see what transpires.

HAK - I'm in now, checking things out. I'll play PBEM25 turn probably next and come back there then. btw. leaving those workers unprotected was bad idea. If I can't get them, the next best thing for me is to disband them.

Well the couple additional units behind them in my borders were only able to reach to the tile right behind them. And the other units that could protect them were needed to protect elsewhere more important. If you want to sacrifice an archer to disband a couple of my workers, that is up to you. I only had two options, and neither of them were good. bang

Hmmm, now I'm pretty certain that neither sunrise nor lewwyn are #1 in GNP.
