so we vote twice, once for either you or ichabod, then once for a separate target? this is confusing.

anyway you know how I feel. I think you are making a lot of sense right now, and I'll throw a fit if you get lynched over Ichabod. But I don't think it will happen. I think you should go ahead and use your ability.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

Yes, there are two separate lynch tallies running in parallel through the day (I think me and my target can still vote in the main one too, but not sure). At the end of the day, the main lynch target dies, and so does the loser of my duel.

I'm going to use the power, but there's no harm in holding off a few hours in case anybody can make a crushing case as to why I should target someone else.

I don't get why either arguments are being so readily dismissed.
He's a day vig for crying out loud - doesn't that feel a bit off as a village role, whereas it balances a SK well.

Here's how I see it: you have meta making you think he's innocent=I have meta making me think he's wolf/SK(with a strong SK lean)
Actually, I think he's the most likely candidate for SK as well, if such exists. Which last night casts doubt on.

I just object to such obviously flawed arguments, even if the suspect is potentially guilty of other crimes.

Only one kill, and on an obvious wolf target. Brings me back to thinking the double kill first night was more likely a vig shot. Or an "Incompetent seducer" somehow being a bomb, but you don't generally send a valuable (and undetected) wolf off on the first night.
Protection - there might be a strongman equivalent. Would make sense if there are several protective abilities.

Lynch Icky please!
I would, but his trolling is making the game actually worth sticking around for tongue

Though if forced to chose in a duel, I'd probably keep gazglum over him.

You know if you go down to a duel with Ichabod, it'll either result in:

1) Ichabod actually just being silly trolly town, or
2) People defending Ichabod and lynching you anyways.

I know...I feel bad about the thought of depriving us all of Ichabod, but it would at least give him 36 hours to bring out his best shots.

1. If Ichabod is trolly town, that would be disappointing, but still useful to know don't you think? I think that information would be of more use to the town than his current play.

2. Who would you want me to fight then?

You conveniantly edit out the part where I give reasoning/an actual argument.rolleye
You know me - Ive hated meta since the '15 debacle, the whole point is I see it both ways and therefore think he's a lynchworthy candidate if we both move past the meta.

1) True

2) I've been looking at Azza's posts, and I would be an advocate towards putting him under pressure.

His day one was almost exclusively entirely agreeing with the pretty much policy lynch on flug__auto, other than a little bit of debate on Meiz.

His day 2 was:
1) Saying to lynch Molach, which was an easy place to park.
2) Trying to pick at Bigger being the SK, which I couldn't see at all.
3) A last minute switch to Mattimeo, who doesn't seem to have anything especially damning.

And speaking of which:

(February 6th, 2013, 00:26)Azza Wrote: In fact, I've convinced myself to vote for him.

Bigger

(February 6th, 2013, 16:53)Azza Wrote: I'm uneasy about an Ichabod lynch. Might just be because I'm enjoying his roleplaying, but my gut says he's town.

Mattimeo

Azza is a poster of few words, which means that the ones that he does post, I would consider to have significance to them. He seems to have a big problem with Bigger, and a desire to save Ichabod, both of which have been coming under suspicion (or people are wanting to have under suspicion). So going fo Azza will also help us piece together notions about them. Plus, I just feel like Azza is scum, based on how he's played, how similar some of this is to the last game as scum where he floated around until the end, and my gut feeling.

So yeah Gazglum, I would offer up Azza as a choice for your duel.

Thought azza too, but worried if he flips town we learn nothing.

WW20 - Day 3: Post 3

@Gazglum-
I think you should duel Mattimeo.
I would also wait until the Europeans can weigh in later tonight. They're usually on in a few more hours.

If you notice, Mattimeo posted again, but still answers nobody's questions nor seems to think he needs to.

Mattimeo, who did you suspect before you revenge voted me? I'm trying to figure out who you really suspected at all this game and I'm having a hard time finding someone it seems like you really think is scum.
Why aren't you pushing anybody's cases?

I mean, let's go through the people you've suspected this game. Hell, let's go through ALL your posts. There aren't that many; you've only got 1 more than me and I'm the one with a post restriction.

Day 1

#24
#55 - Joke vote on Ichabod.
#70 - Vote on Azza for disregarding the rule that alignment is random. Good reason to push someone. Except you haven't mentioned Azza since.
#168 - Vote on flug. You say that Flug's list needs explanation. But again, you never follow this up with flug. Your next posts sound like you're content to just have your vote on a plausible candidate.
#180 - Tease Brick for changing his joke vote on flug to a real vote.
#183 - Joke post
#416 - Here you defend the reason you are voting flug. That seems a bit odd to lay this groundwork now, but if you know that flug is going to flip town then you probably are anticipating needing a good reason to be on him.
#434 - Joke with uberfish
#508 - Joke with zak

So on day 1 you vote for Ichabod (that's fine, joke vote). Then you vote Azza and don't even acknolwedge the answer. Azza even answered your question with another question:

(February 2nd, 2013, 02:01)Azza Wrote: Why would I deliberately attempt to be misleading in such an obviously, demonstrably wrong way?

Don't you think that would merit some follow up? But I don't think you're interested in answering questions.
Then you find a nice safe place to park your vote on flug. And keep it there. But what do you do the entire time? You say you're looking for answers from flug but all your posts are spam. You don't ask anybody else questions. You don't even ask flug questions. You just joke around with people, like all you wanted was a safe place to put your vote.

Day 2

#609 - Novice has already picked at this post, about how you can say Molach was innocent and then vote for him. I don't like this post because you're also parroting Gaspar's attempt to throw suspicion on our pairs. Wait, didn't you attack Azza for doing this in Day 1? For saying certain people were scum based on their character? (Where was that attack when Gaspar did it?)
Anyway, still waiting on your response to this post.
#614 - This post basically says "I can't contribute anything; I only parrot and give meta reasons". Scummy, scummy post.
#620 - Can you explain your reasoning here? It sounds like you say that because jkaen revealed that he has an unknown alignment your meta case falls apart. Except why would it? I mean, you were voting molach and your case was that one of the two pairs of people (ichabod, jkaen, molach, flug) were scum. So why does hearing jkaen doesn't know his alignment make you unvote molach?
#789 - Vote Ichabod for "oscillating all over the place". Pot, meet kettle. And then you add more suspicion on molach without voting him.
#969 - Self-preservation vote #1. You bring up your molach unvote and ask why nobody's asked you about it.
#983 - Ichabod after novice's reveal
#988 - Joke with Brick
#1007 - Self-preservation vote to Gaius with 1 min to go.

Day 2 you have your bad molach vote, which you need to answer novice's and my questions to. Then it's an unvote for reasons I honestly don't understand -- please help me understand that better. And then votes for Ichabod for being all over the place, before you go into self-defense mode.
And on top of those, I would really like to know who you suspect and why.

Also Meiz, aren't you the one who's supposed to dig up everybody's posts? tongue
