I'm looking to get Civ 4 set up so I can sub for Pin when he's backpacking. I can run the game all right, but when I try to use BTS_Wrapper.exe I get an error like:
"The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I suspect this is because BTS_Wrapper uses a different version of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable than the original (or Steam) version seem to use - I see a MSVCP71.dll in the game directory, but that's obviously not what it's looking for.

Has anyone run into this and remember the solve?

The problem can be solved by installing the C++ Redistributable Package 2010. When downloading you have the choice between different variants. You must always select vcredist_x86.exe because the wrapper and Civ4 are 32bit programmes.

I will not be able to play starting today until sunday night. My search for a substitution wasn't successful until now, mostly because I procrastinated too much after the initial faliure. I left the password in my thread. Sorry for potentially delaying the game.
