Why does one of the deserts in the above pic produce 1 coin?
How's the countdown to landing treating you? Has Munro declared?

Yeah - that is a "global warming" tile. Good times!
Munro has not declared - he can't declare till T273 I think.
Countdown is still... counting. I have 6 turns (well 5 now as the turn has rolled this morning)

It's now T275, and my NAP with Munro has expired.
As such, I sent him the following email
Quote:Hi Munro (copy to sunrise),
So..... (not a copy to soooo too - just more of an expression <g>), it appears to now be T275.
I thought I would check in with you to see your plans. From your last email (copied below), we appear to now be eligible to war with one another. And while I do appreciate your "keeping me on my toes", it would be my preference that we not wage war.
I have noticed your spiking power, and seen your massed up troops on several fronts. No doubt you can do some damage to me, depending on where you choose to attack.
However, and perhaps this is just hubris on my part, I think it highly unlikely that you will be able to raze my capital (or should I say capitalS?) in the next 4 turns, even with nukes, tons of modern armor, paratroopers, transports, or Commando units. Perhaps you have additional tricks up your sleeve, or perhaps not.
If you think that you have a legitimate and appreciable chance of knocking my capital out, I guess I would not fault you going for it. Of course, I would PREFER you didn't, but ya know... But if not (and this is what it feels like to me), then I reiterate what you said a month or so ago - it's likely to just be a slog, and how about "we save our civ hours for another game and another day" as you put it back then.
And no, this is not some sort of scam to find out what your plans are and exploit them by attacking you or anything like that.

Let me be the first to point out that the timing of all this could NOT be better, and I do appreciate the sad twist of irony
