Interesting things about to happen. Horse archers rolling off the line, praetorians coming in. I want this fur city.
Up to nine cities, for what little it's worth. Losing this duel despite my solid tech pace.

Operation: Make Him Worry About Praetorians, Actually Mass Horse Archers...successful.
If anything I should have made more chariots. As you can see, TBS does have a warrior plus maybe something in that lucky C1 galley, so if he wins a ~1/3 shot and then a coinflip he could really mess me up. If he's conservative, though, that's an extra 2 praetorians and a horse archer that can hit him too the turn after next.

Welp, that was...a pretty average result, in the end.
Little disappointed in the horse archers, they had slightly positive odds to either win or withdraw (38.9%, 12.5%), but ah well. Clearing the axes down to hurt...
...made me wish for a few more Praetorians. They rock against yellow or redlined axes.
Hrm. Okay, not terrible. Have a horse archer and a spear on the land, plus three praets and two horse archers on ships. Tiajin got whipped this turn, so we'll have to see what pops up there, plus his galleys can deliver a warrior plus whatever Shanghai has as a garrison. It's a close moment.
But hey, my game is doing better than someone's. Whew, sorry there Mjmd.

TBS is good], everyone. He saved his city, well played.
He was also well-stationed with a warrior and took out my loaded galley here.
Feels bad, man.

Are you feeling like forever war or are you feeling like you want to pull back and try to recover?
And yeah TBS is good.

Forever war, of course. There is no "recovery" that improves my standing relative to TBS' monster start. He's got sixteen cities to my now eleven, and it's only getting worse. I'm going to try to generate some decent RNG here before he can mass triremes, but I'm not optimistic.
My own empire is tiny and wheezing, basically the only saving grace is my teeny costs but I'm about to be falling behind on tech too.
Heh, at least I have decent power levels.

At least I did something. Duel mode means it's worth it if I can burn at least two more with this expedition.

Well, it was fun, but TBS has mass triremes now, so I need my own mass triremes.
Superdeath is eating JoshyBravo, so...pretty sure I read that situation right, at least.

Twiddling thumbs TBS is typically ending turn with only 1-2 hours left on the clock, it's getting a little tiresome. I suppose I could peace out for PYFT reasons, but at this point that means the entire game should concede to him immediately. Meanwhile, I guess I can hope Superdeath does a Shaka thing and just keeps on to TBS immediately after he finishes Joshy.

My newsfeed tells me that Bigfoot now flies. Which reminded me of this and caused me to wonder how your empire is going.
