Some additional info on game mechanics regarding quick speed:

Everything is generally *0.67.

For example - forrest chop without maths is 20h on noraml *0.67 = 13.4h = 13h on quick.

With maths 30h *0.67 = 20.1h = 20h.

There are some times when this doesn't make much difference - Workers for example: Turns to chop a forrest on normal = 3t *0.67 = 2.01 = 3t on quick.

Enjoy!

Well after my procrastination gene kicking in yesterday, the turn got round to me this morning.

Ryan Giggs still hasn't found anything particularly nice to accompany the grassland pigs, and has found another animal ready to attack at the end of the turn.

My settler (jive) has set off on the way to the copper city, with a worker and warrior accompanying it. Jive will be settled in FOUR turns and I will revolt to slavery in THREE.

Inside Cha Cha Cha

Another warrior is queued up for building, which will complete in two turns. I will then start another warrior for one turn before the revolt, and then head straight onto building The Oracle.

Another day, another turn.

Well my scout survived unscathed from its latest encounter, and moved on to find some interesting, if not spectacular land.

My Jive settler kept moving towards the city spot. I find it gratifying that the game suggests the spot I have chosen is the best place for him to go. At least the game thinks I'm doing one thing right!

Warrior 4 will complete at the end of this turn, and one turn will be put into another before revolting to slavery and then starting on The Oracle. Fingers still crossed but my luck isn't great so far.

Played the turn this morning, but only got around to updating now!

Ryan Giggs found some more grassland alongside what seems to be a decent sized body of water. No animals in sight so he shall continue on his merry way next turn.

Settler/Worker/Warriors stack is two turns from settling now. Worker and Paul Scholes will head north next turn, whereas Gary Neville with the Jive settler will go west to the city spot.

Warrior 4 (Roy Keane) completed this turn, to act as a garrison. I shall be revolting to slavery at the end of the next turn and then move onto building the Oracle, so the next warrior will not complete.

In Foreign News

Seen as I haven't posted this in a while, here is the status of the other 5 capitals in the game. There was a size 6 capital last turn (not with Stonehenge) so there must have been a 2pop whip of some kind last turn, probably a Settler.

Another turn passed, and as expected I revolted to Slavery this turn, so just a short update today.

The stretch of water discovered by Ryan Giggs last turn, has been found to be much bigger, and including some Ocean! Interesting for a highland map...

Lets see if there is any more to find next turn!

The worker and settler escorts split up this turn to go to the deer tile and city spot respectively. Jive will be founded next turn.

Well with the quickest turn around to date, I have snook in a second turn in just over 12 hours! Woohoo.

And in more woohoo-ishness, Jive was settled this turn as I came out of anarchy.

So for the first time, lets look: Inside Jive

Nothing much nice here, besides the pretty quick granary. Will have deer camp up in two more turns.

Inside Cha Cha Cha

Oracle slowly getting built, and it will be at Size Three at the end of this turn. Nice.

Scouting

Nothing particularly spectacular, noone has found me and I haven't found anyone. However, there are plenty of lions and bears patrolling near my borders so I would be surprised if any warrior/scout survived for that long. I am very glad I have now settled my copper city so I can get some proper military to teach those beasts a painful lesson and improve our fashion.

Well another turn, and the Oracle clock is really ticking now!

Inside Cha Cha Cha

7 turns until completion. I bloody well hope this comes off now! Otherwise there will be an unhealthy amount of banghead going on in Germany!

Inside Jive

4 turns until the Granary completes, a nice starting build, which should hopefully grow this city nice and quickly. Camp will be complete soon and then its time to hook up that divine copper!

Scouting

Some nice irrigated Wheat (although plains), alongside some grassland, but hopefully the fog will uncover some nice stuff to make this a nice city spot, instead of an OK one.

Alarming news!!!! yikes

At the end of the turn, this vile thing appeared!

I am not too worried as I am going after Archery after Agri finishes, but we shall have to see what he decides to do, as I cannot let my warrior leave the capital as I am not diverting my Oracle build.

Sorry if you have said previously in your thread - but what are you planning on taking with the oracle if you land it?
