I would not suggest archery - we already have axemen, chariots, and spearman to defend. But I'm afraid that we're probably doomed in this game. Just do the best we can defending, but I think we'll probably die. ![frown frown](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif) Pack in as many units in Diff II as we can, and then put the rest in MV.
I'm very sorry about missing the last 2 days - I was at a *mandatory* family meeting, without internet connection.

No problem, let's see what we can make of this...
Just hit end turn and send the save.

And another turn. City is doomed, but what can I do... just building more units, teching IW for Jaguars and hope to stop Kublai at MV.
New city east will be founded next turn.

Don't know what the plan. But the picture shows, you building a spearman, when facing axes?
Also, why not retreat instead of losing troops?

Building axemen, just didn't matter what I build in the lost city since it build would never finish. I thought Kublai was coming with HA's instead of Axes.
Anyway, a new turn, Kublai has taken the city. Lost one axe, so that's a nice bonus. We're teching towards IW and I hope to use Jaguar's to take the city back sometime. Nice of him to keep it!
Building a few more units to keep MV safe, then a Granary or Library before IW comes in. New city will be there next turn. Got to love Jungle...

Is there any possibility of putting a chariot on a tile(s) so that it has city visibility of KK's captured city? That way we could likely see what force he has if he holes them up in the city. (The wise thing for him to do would be to keep his military out of the city until he's ready to attack.) Also, we'll have to check his power graph to see if there's any further increases, which would indicate he wants to continue warring, or if there's not much of an increase, which means he would want to expand economically now.

May be you should treat this as a change from your normal style of playing Nakor. In other games, I have seen you tech well, build well, but loose militarily. Here you can do reverse ....

I'll have to, MWIN! Nice challenge. Guess that's one reason why mackoti attacked. Going to draft/whip enough to keep him honest and maybe try to get back at him with maces/cats. We should be teching better then him soon, I think....
Okay, e founded east. Put it on a Granary since I don't know when borders will pop.
Going a chariot in Calc, and Library in MV next turn. Settler (with 2 chops) after the chariot to found a city SW.
Nice news at eot:
