Both Amelia and Mackoti start golden ages. I'm coasting along trying to get things in order. Libraries will come in and then I will gather gold while I build libraries and then crank it up and research priests.

I'm thinking I might have enough workers now, as I'm mostly working improved tiles though there are a few points where my cities are working ancient forests or some flavor or another. Racing towards writing, then priesthood, and then mass priest spam while I back-fill my supporting units (Archers, Gilden, Longbows, Military State).

Got a really belligerent message from Mackoti asking me to get my hunters out of our "neutral zone". Bullshit. I'm going to keep my scouts in the zone because I like having random vampires charging at my borders as much as Mackoti would love having random elves charging at his borders. He's a grating player in diplo, that's for sure

[COLOR="Green"]My hunter is there for the same reason your Moroii is, I don't feel
like being surprised by a bunch of 4 move chariots, and I assume you
like knowing if something is headed your way as well. You're being
really hostile about it though, which is confusing me. Elves build
hunters and hawks, and then use those to make sure they have vision on
every possible incoming direction to protect their forest-cottages.
Fact of life.

'gratz on the Great Library. Aristo-agrarianism + Flood plains is
monster. I dunno if my elf-cottages can keep pace with that.

Hippus haven't moved, still marching a bunch of horsemen up and down
our mutual border. Bronze warriors with promos keep him honest
though. I feel like fighting him is a waste of time with all the land
he has between him and Mist to settle, so we garrison our border and
stare at each other.
