I wait for seven to do a full report if he feels so, but Rng completly was against us.After that we got the worst land we got a neighbour which wants mids from us .we have to sacrifice everithing just to fight back right now.
I will never signe in a 'casual game" becasue its makes me mad.
To give you an idea of how unlucky we got, here are 12 combat sims I just ran.
Note that in each case, I attacked with all possible units, which is obviously a bad move (in particular the three spearmen should never ever be attacking because they are fighting high-strength axemen). I always attacked in the same order and I don't think there was ever a situation where it would be better to attack in a different order. However there are obviously lots of times where the attack should be aborted, the most notable of which is BEFORE THE FIRST UNIT ATTACKS. In the sims the attack never even comes close to working.

Basically their chariots and axes got incredibly lucky, removing all of our axes. And this allowed all three of their spears to get easy kills.
We have 2 chariots left; no we are not holding the city nor likely our neighboring cities. We are completely wrecked.

Not necesary i got quitte a few badbatles there too.I remeber once trying to destroy some galeons and i lost 5-6 batles at 22 odds doing almost no damage.
And you atacking me 5 times at 70% odds and winning all, but its not same think like here, there were lots of units, here loosing one at 22% ods its like there loosing 10 at same odds.

Galleon battles were before my time... =)
I just remember a long run of you winning 27% battles when you wrecked our navy. Grrrr.
Winning 5 out of 5 70% battles is not that bad. You would expect to win either 3 or 4, so 5 is not that much of a stretch.
Anyway, it's no fun being on the receiving end, but there's nothing like adversity to bring out the best in people. Just take a bit of chill time and come back to the game fresh.
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

I logged in a few minutes after the turn rolled to save our worker who had just finished a chop. I saved him, then whipped BL down to size 1 (last turn we whipped a scout 3->2 but then swapped production to an archer, which subsequently became whippable).
Then I was looking around when I saw Black Lotus fall! And we still had a chariot on the wine tile. I thankfully reacted quickly, pillaging the road and then running away before a full-strength chariot could destroy me. Unless they get some workers up here quickly this delays their slow-movers from reaching MD by a turn, which basically means +1 archer.
Yes, we are planning to defend in MD. We got a great general from the fighting, which can gives 2 promos each to four units. Maybe 3 archers and an axe, maybe 4 archers. There's also a spear but it's less important to promote. Anyway we'll see. Unfortunately Mack and I didn't quite coordinate last turn and I 3-whipped the settler in MD thinking we would fall back to Sol Ring. So yeah, in a few turns we'll uh, let the settler finish Maybe it was smart because it let us grow back this turn? Heh.
