[spoilers] Pindicator and Regoarrarr - Bismark of Ethiopia

I logged in and then logged out before I realized that the turn rolled while I was in there smoke

Krill ended turn without settling AGAIN. I hope his land is really crappy and he is going to wander in the desert for many turns before settling. I also hope that he's not near us lol

Commodore settled, with 8 land tiles in his BFC (probably coastal cove).

One interesting thing is that max GNP is still only 19, which means that our 2 creative leaders, Yuris and Celiazul are both working first-ring techs.

Did want to just mention something about the warrior scouting. There's no need to coordinate with me if you're logged in and feel like we should move the warrior a particular way - go for it.

Now, having said that lol, what should we do with the warrior on T2? How "lucky" do you feel about someone being close enough to us. Some of our MM plans have us not building another warrior any time soon (though with the option of diverting a chop into one if absolutely necessary).

So I kind of feel like we should hang out with this warrior at least a little bit? Though huts are on so we do want to explore with him too. Maybe we play it risky?

The 2 big things we want to accomplish are a) scouting out the south down by the PH and b) scouting to the east near that FP / river site, as those are our likely candidates for city #2 (and city #3 in all probability).

But where do we want to go next? I kind of feel like we're in the Northern hemisphere (and maybe even in the NW corner of the "big" map). So in that case, I'd be tempted to scout south. Which would mean let's go eastish for a few turns, then turn south?

Yeah, I think we do need to scout around the plains hill/clam spot where city #2 is going to go. And our warrior probably needs to end up over there so the settler isn't being harassed by barbarians or wild animals.

I was thinking we stay on the diagonal and move SE for one more turn, and then start moving SW if we want to check that area out.

So Pindicator wants to move SE on the diagonal, to uncover the most tiles. I think I am leaning towards NE, to uncover tiles at the river site, and then do a mostly clockwise loop. Kyan or Waterbat - what do you guys think?

I vote SE as the border pop will reveal some tiles over that way anyhow.

We can only see 1 tile over land, right? I don't think the border pop will reveal any additional tiles. The only reason we can see the FP and northern grass on the east side of the river is because of the hill tile NE of the capital, which can see 2 tiles over the water.

I should elaborate that I am not saying the warrior should scout out the general area SE of the capital first, just that he should move SE next turn. We can move to scout arond the FP or swing west to the clam/ph location after

Well my only point is that if he goes SE this turn, then if he then turns NE, theres some back tracking if he wants to then turn around and go to the PH spot.

Not that it really matters, but how else are we going to keep up our posts / turn average lol
