I don't think you're a bad guy. I definitely respect you more than when you first started posting here. But you've made your point several times now, and it's time to move on.
His point is simple, don't talk shit behind peoples' backs and then get surprised when they call you out on it when they find out later. The same could be said for the attitude that's still prevalent in lurker threads here. Don't talk shit if you're not willing to say it to someone's face. It really IS rude and cowardly, fucking terrible, really.

We've got 2M who spent most of his days in CFC, just chilling and playing some Civ. Then a couple of guys who were up to no good started an intersite demogame including his neighborhood. They got into one little fight and everyone got mad. CFC thought RB had no class, yo this is bad. Is this how the people of RB are playing like? Hmm, this might not be alright. 2M didn't think so, but he'd have to see when he'd get there. Well, uh, the game ended, and when he came to RB, there was MJW looking like a cop standing and waving his name out. He popped in the thread about three or four pages in and yelled to the RB "Hey guys, what's going on here". He looked at his kingdom, he was finally there, to sit on his throne as the prince of Bel Air.
I shot him down!
I don't think matters anymore expect for shits and giggles and I've had my fill of that. I don't think there will be another demogame ever (Civ5's ISDG bombed hard) so this is just beating a dead horse for now reason. Now if Firaxis somehow gets their act together or other game like Civ comes along I can dredge this stuff up and continue as this will become more than hot air.
Reacting to 2metra for the last time:
1. I said "could have been"
2. There was only around 10 real members and only 3 who were active enough to be the turnplayer so it's easy to see what would have happened if MZ didn't play including how strong the main-turnplayer would have been.
3. ...
4. RB may have made a mistake because of LP's reputation and should have picked someone else. But that's just a tactical error and not a reflection of the community. I think they just didn't consider it.
5. I forgot to talk about Sommers sucking-up to CivFr when they missed-moved a unit. This is to make CivFr like CFC and it might have worked. Everyone who did the step-up for a game and played in it was well trusted. I don't think LP or myself could set-up a game here without help. I'm sure you can ask someone else to list all the time that Sommers did something bad to lose trust. A good example was declaring himself the winner in the SANTCA demogame. Oh wait he was the winner because the city-gifting was legal because it wasn't used to gain an in-game advantage! It just goes to show you how he takes every single advantage though...
6. That shit is indeed broken. Do I really need to explain it to you? The teams not using the best moves can only be explained by them doing fair play which is actually a good thing... I brought up that person because he really hated RB and wasn't 1337 so the brokenness overrode his bias.
7. The first game would have been hated even worse if they didn't win. I'm sure Sullla can whine about what happened all day long. However, RB winning covered up host of sins and shortcomings. In other words RB winning caused them to overate the first game; not underrate this one.

You do realize that we realize that the threads would be opened later and thus what we posted would be available for all to see? If we were embarrassed by that then we wouldn't be making those posts.
And this is even funnier coming from the guy who explicitly demanded that I not post in his thread.
I've made myself a calendar that comes up with a random adjective + noun pairing for every day. Today happens to be the day of the Caring Approval.
You're all great, guys. Yay! People might still be upset from the ISDG, which I think is too bad, but that's OK. I think it's pretty awesome that no one is murdering anyone else or raiding each other's farmsteads or accusing each other of witchcraft. People are satisfied with expressing their frustrations through words! We truly live in an amazing time.
It's too bad that the ISDG bred so much unhappiness though. If we do another ISDG some other time, we should try to figure out how to reduce that.
I think a healthy dose of Caring Approval by everyone and a lot less Uncaring Disapproval should do the trick. Or this:
The only thing that sucks worse than care bears is, I'm fairly sure, this thread. Yeah, some people may have been asses in the game, may have written unkind things in the team forum. That was my primary contribution to the game, unless you count my trolling diplomacy at the very end. Anyway it was all over a long time ago, who really cares now? So what if a bunch of random guys on the internet said dumb and unkind things? It was a game, we were competitive and invested, it happened. And now it's over. I don't think anyone is going to apologize for anything, I don't think anyone needs to. I think it's....over.
Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
Ha, Xenu. I totally had forgotten that you actually sent the entire unabridged version of War and Peace. As diplo. Best diplomacy ever in my opinion, with all apologies to scooter. What it failed to achieve as diplomacy it more than made up for with by its novelty as high brow trolling and, separately, as catharsis for the few RB survivors still engaged at that point when all was already lost. I'm proud of that from the ISDG if nothing else.

I have the same. But mine seems to come up with "Miserable Bastard" every day. Is it broken?
Hit a million-to-one chance last week. Was introducing someone I know to a RTS. The game assigns random 3-digit numbers to all drones. The first three drones to come out had single-digit numbers.
