I don't suppose there is any global lurker out there that can help me quickly make a sandbox for my start? I'd like to test two options real quick, if possible. But I really don't know how to make a sandbox from scratch.

EDIT: Eh, screw it. I really can't figure out this whole simming thing. I pick HRE.

kinda late to get started on that...

Just roll a standard size lakes map with one of your chosen leader/civ, open the worldbuilder, surround your start with water, and then make your start look like the screenshot OH gave you. Save the worldbuilder file then post that in your lurker thread... hopefully someone can change the leader/civ for you.

Need diplomacy victory enabled to be able to build the AP. Also, I think the vote for AP diplomatic victory has been ineffective since at least 2.0.6.4 (PB18 version). Maybe someone can confirm this. Anyway, if nothing else house rules can prevent AP cheese, but building the AP should be an option for the monk economy.
