Decided to go Axes-Keshiks to preserve as many high exp HA's as we can.
Peter Griffin the scout defended amazingly against a Pro/Cha Archer. I really expected Ruff to throw that archer back in the city considering the stack of HA's that had appeared.... Kinda odd.
Attacked and this is what happened. Lost two keshiks and all but two axes. Fairly even on the odds, although i would have of course liked to have seen another win out of all those losses. Because now Ruff has a injured but highly promoted archer, and will likely whip another archer out. Ruff dies next turn so long as RNG doesnt do a 300 spartans vs 10000 immortals kinda thing.
Lots of three promo HA's.. C2, shock first strike Keshiks will be visiting that shitty ivory city up north sometime soon. Or maybe in a bit... Going to have to see how everything shapes up.
Demos.. not great, but being that our land is sub par, and we have been at war for 40t... not bad!
Because of how the war went, i swapped alot of keshik chops/whips into Settlers/workers so that we can send one to the floodplains below Ruff's cap, and the other will settle that silver to the southwest. Alphabet will be used to build research to get us to Currency. All hail the mighty Currency!

In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

I think Ruff might be frustrated and want to get it over with at this point.
We came so close with the attack. We will take it next turn, lets hope with no additional losses. The axes was definitely less useful going forward so that is a good argument. It is hard to say what was best without simming it. Maybe we could have taken the city in a turn by attacking in a different order, maybe not considering how the battle luck went.
Like I said earlier, a spear in Jupitar is the way to go. It would be a better discouragement to krill than an axe.
New settlers and workers are the way to go. I would settle the hill tweo north of the clam and two west of the copper.

The axe is being built to help take/burn that ivory city of AT's that i consider poor placement. Ill be beefing up our defenses by the krill border in the next round of production. At this point, if krill attacked the game is auto-won by AT. And i would expect lurkers to call it as such.

Two settlers coming out over the next two turns. One gets us Silver, and eventually Fur as well. The other is a nice cottage city on the floodplains valley that Ruff used to call home.
I want to recover the economy a bit + have a settler ready when i go to burn that city of AT's. ( which is frankly a very greedy play from someone with MIDS + a huge lead in cities to grab ) He is asking to be punished.. Sadly, we are a little ways off from currency. With research builds we can probably get there in 10t or so. Not quite ready to full-speed ahead to there yet.

Sounds reasonable, founding a bunch of new cities just as we get currency.
How much did the battle of earth cost us? Do we have an army left to use against AT? I see 10 or so Keshiks on the map which is enough to take a lightly defended city but not to win a war. As I see it, the more we have the earlier we should attack AT.

We have a decent stack, but as AT has construction and is able to go into PS.. id rather not piss him off. We will still burn that offending city, just not super soon. Maybe right before getting Currency? Picking up Fishing now as we need it for the next city which will be planted next turn.

AT planted a city on the island to our west. He is really pushing my buttons as that IS considered my sphere of influence. Its rightfully mine, and it will be taken once i have sufficient forces. He is playing excessively greedy for someone that at this point wants to sit back and tech/stall. Pushing AGG/CHA mongolia's buttons isnt the best move IMO. Ive got the best, of the best, everything. Chumchu needs to pull me back from this lol.
Building research > everything. Take that Rep scientists!
Planting on the grass hill where the arrows are pointing in two turns. Barracks-Granary. As we need to secure the border, and a border pop IMO does that as the diagonal is blocked by that mountain.
Basic overview. Any questions?
Question for Charriu/lurkers... Normally our games dont allow Spys, i dont see it specifically mentioned in the tech thread. Are they allowed this game? And if so, are the missions banned? So many questions... so many......... sneaky things i can do.

It wasn't discussed in the setup phase. Fairest thing to do would be to bring this topic up now.
I didn't mention it because there are no BUG changes concerning spies.
