Continued exploration of the northern continent, which we hope to settle twice in the next 5-10 turns. That does mean we need some more city names...
Colossus is due in 4 turns (before ending the turn) in Sailboats. Great Library in 2 turns in the capital.
Over in the east, a bit of teamwork has the floodplain quickly roaded (there is also one of Ruff's workers on the same tile) so that the Christian missionary can make smooth progress into Ruff's territory. It will head to his capital which is broadly ESE from there. I set Top Kicker to knock out another missionary in 2 turns, which can head to Nut Flush Draw.
Here is the impressive looking Speed Limit, which is growing in 2 out of every 3 turns at the moment. A chop has just been completed, which is more than enough for the library - overflow will go into a settler. We are suffering health problems, but I have a worker roading the corn which should fix this next turn.
You will notice from the above shot that I switched to 0% research, partly because of the library completing, but also partly due to the fact that we didn't definitively decide on the tech path. However, if we are continuing the builder's route we can go for Music (via Drama or not).

I noticed in the demographics screen that someone had leapt up in GNP in second place. That's actually quite close to us, although we are at 0% research.
A closer inspection of the GNP graphs showed that it was, predictably, Pegasus who had reached those heights.
I temporarily put our research to 100% to show a perhaps fairer picture.
Land area and soldier count are remarkably similar across the board in the above demographics.

I doubt Music is very urgent, so I'd suggest Construction and then Paper.
EDIT: Maybe Machinery instead of Construction, CKN are better than catapults for home defense.
I have to run.

Machinery is what I favour actually - you were pushing the Drama - Music line earlier. Machinery then Paper is fine by me.

I didn't mean to push it, I just want us to make sure to get the Great Artist. It would be silly to be first by a mile to Literature, have our GNP, and not pick up the GA.
I have to run.

I've been playing with dotmaps. One is full of overlaps, the other uses the space as efficiently as possible. Neither is perfect, and we need a little more scouting, but I thought I'd have a mess around.
Firstly: overlap city.
Secondly: efficient dotmap.
Due apologies for the poor artwork...

Agreed. I should have said "gently nudging".

Got it.
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

Ad hoc adopted Representation last turn. City count is now 11 (us), 10 (Pegasus), 9 (Ruff), 8 (ad hoc), 7 (TT - Googly refounded).
In the south, our workboat discovered a second mountain island.
In the north, we discovered fish and sheep, making at least one of my two previous dotmaps redundant. Novice - feel free to have a go.
EP-wise, ad hoc has put some on us now, so I diverted some to him. Need to keep an eye on it - might need to put more towards him.
T11£ demographics.
And, after ending turn, we completed the Great Library, which accelerated Machinery by a turn (well, that and city growths).
