If we'd had Rep then I think we'd have had a lot more great people... If we can't get to Universal Suffrage or Police state by then then Rep should be our next port of call.

Not much info on the Troll core any more - they burnt all our cities that could see that far!

But that's what I was asking--we seem really reliant on the HR happiness to stay solvent now, even considering that the whip anger will eventually go away.

Turn 208

We start with the fun bit. Airships bombard the units in tequilla sour.

Then two of our CRI CI grenadier get 85%

And win. Our CRII gren gets 96%,

Then a CII gren takes the city.

Given the infrastructure I think this is a good candidate to keep.

Near Rapier, Trolls still have a galleon in Cape Cod. I'd like to send our hit-fleet up here to pin down a lot of units again, but it'll take us five turns to arrive.

It looks like we're not making much money, I just realised that I either offered or accepted this deal from Pirates rather than offering 300. It means we're going to have to declare on them to cancel the deal or get them to pay us back. Doh

I'm planning to take Tequilla Slammer in a couple of turns, although they keep adding new units.

The big Troll stack is out of our culture now. It can't hit Oathkeeper or Jemmy this turn, but could do next turn.

The 1-movers can get to Mai-Tai on t213, Deerslayer or Ramune t214, Screwdriver or Irish Coffee t215. Its a bit of a forlorn hope that M3 or Pirates can do something about them.

On the economic front we're building a handfull of extra units, a couple more ships and banks and other money infrastructure. We want to get the banks in place soon, but we want to grow too. So many decisions...

So. What now could possibly go wrong?

lol I have no idea. I wonder if taking the islands near the Troll coast could be a mistake, but with air cover and the extra navel power we have I'm hopeful we can keep their (growing) fleet at bay. If they get bogged down in fighting with M3 and Pirates then we could become the new runaway (we need combustion before Trolls, and then I think I'd be happy). Except that our capital isn't the research powerhouse it once was. So I don't know if we will research faster than Trolls.

Constitution next for a specialist economy might be our best chance... (Okay C-H I'm coming around to the idea!)

Thing is Q isn't playing, M3 and Pirates are just having a last hurrah, and even I'm a bit tired of this game, so around about t215-220 I hope we'll agree a draw. I'm getting the hang of agreeing draws you see...

Navel power wins it!

Does naval gazing help?

I still don't know where Trolls are going with that stack--just circling around to hit M3? We're still going to be able to take a shot at that stack at some point, right? Is our stack just hanging around Jemmy?

You can't agree to a draw--then I won't have any games to play tongue

M3 and Pirates can invade their north on t210 and t212 respectively, so I think that's where the stack will go... I don't really want to go near it though - without cavalry we wouldn't kill any cannons and we'd lose all of our forces...

What happened to PB13?

Bacchus is mainly running things on his own at this point (and things aren't going the best for us frown ), so I've kinda stepped back from that :/
