Incidentally, I asked Ruff to give us heads up on any more "enemy" units as part of our NAP.

T127 played. This turn report will focus on the north.

In the northeast, a barb warrior suicided against our axe in Double Gutter. Our XP-hunting axe then killed another barb warrior, and two more are on their way. That means our XP hunter should be at 8/10 soon. TT's galley took a look at Double Gutter's garrison and turned around.

In the west, our borders expanded. An injured axe is lurking - I guess this must be the infamous Killer of Jack. We have an axe that should be able to fend this off - to be completely safe we might have to put a hammer into an archer next turn, which is a bit unfortunate as it will delay the granary in Wheel by a turn.

In the center, our galley entered the city of Broadway, unloading a missionary (who spread the one true faith) and an archer. The galley should head back and pick up more workers. We have one worker waiting by Sailboats, temporarily building a farm.

The borders of Broadway and Double Gutter will expand next turn, giving us better control of the wild north.

My plan for the workers around Broadway is to farm the corn, as I can't stand unimproved food resources. But then we really should get that iron mined. Then improve the cows. The worker by Wheel should road the hill that it's on and then proceed to hook up horses.

In other news, Ruff stole Code of Laws from us. Oh, and we really should clarify our NAP with Pegasus. Or actually, I think we can safely assume a 10-turn cooldown for now, as he is no threat to us. But at our current tech pace, we'll have researched Drama->Music->HBR->Construction->Monarchy->Feudalism->Guilds in 15 turns, so around T135-T140 we should consider giving Pegasus "the notice", so that we're free to attack around T150 if we so desire.

Oh and about 4 turns from now we'll have a great person from Pocket Bullets, most likely a prophet or a scientist, either of which would be great.

If we get the artist from Music I would like to hold on to him for a golden age whenever we need to switch civics (and if that is after capturing the MoM, all the better).

All sounds/looks good. I half expected our city to have been razed by TT. Pessimistic thinking.

Man, what's up with TT's game score.

I've single-whipped the monastery in Sailboats. I'm sorely tempted to double-whip the aqueduct in Speed Limit (it will immediately grow back one) and double-whip the market in Top Kicker, for the pure and simple reason to immediately start on an university with overflow once Education is in.

Pocket Bullets will also start one, Nut Flush Draw in 2 turns (or we could single-whip the missionary), Gut Shot in 4 turns (or we could double-whip the library), and Kojak can start in 2 turns. EDIT: Correction, Kojak can switch next turn - I've put it on a 4-turn barracks for now.

That's 7 choices for 6 universities. Thoughts?

SECOND EDIT: There's Pair of Hooks too which can single-whip a library, which is not a bad idea since otherwise it will grow into an unimproved tile.
