best way to jump start activity is for the turn player to start posting turns :P. Us deckhands that don't know whats going on can't exactly start much conversation, hehe.
I can attest that thestick is pretty damn good at reporting. Let's have some options we can democratize .
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

Wooh, great! What about pindicator? Let me figure out how to actually do this and connect to the Pitboss server... We're going to have to stop building that Worker and I'll need to change the micro. Oh, and update the Captain's log.
Size 2->Settler or Whip Settler?
Size 2 Settler Advantages:
-City is settled sooner, on the same turn the Settler completes.
-We'll have a road in place and the Worker there to Farm
Whip Settler Advantages:
-More tile improvements at Barbados
-2 more Quechuas
I vote Size 2 Settler.

Wait... with these beakers in Bronze Working, it's probably better to just go for the whip.

i vote for size 2 settler. Keep on BW though - we are going to want to know where bronze is, especially since it may impact where city #2 ends up going.
I can be a backup turn player. I kind of already am even if I'm not officially down as one

The issue with Bronze Working is that it doesn't speed up the Settler. The chop comes in when the Settler is almost complete. Then again, The Wheel doesn't actually speed up the city settle time anymore...

You know, why did we decide on 1NE of the Corn? We don't have Pottery for Cottages or Terraces, or Hunting for Deer for that matter.
VOTE! Current consensus seems to be Size 2, tech to be determined.
Option 1: Size 2, The Wheel (1, thestick)
Option 2: Size 2, Bronze Working (1, pindicator)
Option 3: Whip, Bronze Working

Hmm, since the capital borders won't pop until T50 and we won't have hunting without delaying BW, what about settling a different location? The Plains hill SW of the wheat might be a good spot. Is the wheat irrigated?
edit- although that seems to take us in the wrong direction- looks like there's a lot more land available to the south.

Turn played. Worker is still farming the floodplains, swapped to a Settler, 12t at current rate, is actually 11t. I moved a Quechua back to Barbados and am going to fortify it, as it seemed to be headed there. 10t to Bronze Working.

What if we settled down by the corn and opted to go worker for the first build of our second city? Would that get us enough time to pull in Wheel, BW, & Pottery? Will have to take a peek at what a city by the wheat up north would look like; if it's a lot better as a second city spot then it may not matter that it's the wrong direction.
