Heh, well, if I was feeling paranoid, RBmod archery is cheap. On the copper is also a bridge too far for me, I'll settle 1SW of it and use an Agg barracks to pop borders for dry wheat/grass elephants.

Can we finish scouting it before we send out a settler? Might be a food to go with the dyes, which could also work for copper.

Nope. Scout did indeed die, so it's been a lot of nothing lately. Second work boat coming out now; next up is a settler.

Okay, there is one note of mild/amused interest:

I think there's a bug in the "hide diplo windows during pauses" feature - not only did it not work, but when I came back into the game, the diplo window is now gone completely!

So not only has Jojo met someone, he's already gotten himself into a war. It's not like there are any other things to diplo about this early. Let's go back to page one...

I like Jojo and he's got some skills, but I sense an emotional instability; he's pretty tilt prone, gets discouraged and/or distracted easily, and at times lacks empathy. Maybe Borsche will assist there; I know nothing about the guy. I do see some wonder rating elevation here; otherwise very balanced player.
-Voted most likely to regret a Jumbotron message.

I no longer have nice things to say about Jojo; he's proven to be basically the "Leave Britney Alone!" chick with worse PMS. I don't know who he's met (civstats should tell us), but I'm sure he's already decided that the other guy is basically the worst human filth on the planet and is irrationally/spitefully wrecking Jojo's would-be-flawless game.

Let me rephrase: can we finish scouting the copper area before we send out a settler for copper?

I grant that sharing the corn/getting new corn is good enough that it shouldn't be delayed for a hypothetically better copper city.
