It's pretty obvious that there can't be three wolves. You figured out why when confronted with it. (I did answer your question originally, by the way.)

My thought was, isn't this obvious enough that you would figure it out before even asking? So why did you ask? Are you faking being a noob townie who doesn't know the setup?

I like to think I might have some interesting meta insight. However, as rowain showed last game, and you show here, this is just ignorance & not thinking the question through before posting. Was in the midst/end of a larger post where I was thinking everything through and banged it out without considering that 3 wolves would be potentially game breaking.

See your response now also (7 townies, 2 scum) my apologies for missing it.

Given the late results (near midnight BST) I'll probably lie low for the rest of the day and see you guys in the morning.

Adrien seemed to be playing pretty strange (you voted for him originally yourself) so not sure.

Yes, when you put it like this it does sound like a bad call. And I completely agree, with the benefit of hindsight, that it was. When you said "logic dictates" I thought perhaps you had a more "logical" reason for why it was the wrong lynch order, i.e. not based on reads.
If you know what I mean.

See above. Granted, I didn't say that out loud, but Novice was arguing for Lewwyn and Gazglum was pushing hard for Rowain. No reason to assume that neither of those options stood any chance of saving you. You did nothing to test the waters there.

I had almost made up my mind about being lynched, so while some people voiced some suspicions I could see that with 10mn left and probably around 4 players watching I didn't see a late wagon starting. I had pretty much accepted defeat Then with 3mn left I put my vote on Bob to put him at 3 votes in the very unlikely event that someone would change his mind. But I certainly didn't expect it to work, it was only because it didn't cost me anything.

So no I didn't test the waters, I was kinda depressed by how this D1 was going and was giving up.

Bob votes zak for "for pretending like anyone would have actually cared that he "faked a posting restriction"". And yet, the only person who's read anything off that is Bob. Seems to me, wanting to kill off a reasonably strong player and scrabbling for an actual justification to do so. Also, jumping on an established wagon - his vote brought zak up to 3, clear leader. Not liking that play at all.

If Bob does die for his earlier message and ends up town I'll remember this.

Pretty ridiculous when you helped push him off the ledge Adrien.

So I was supposed to let myself die to save Bob ? In truth if I had thought someone would follow me I might have, I dunno. But the wagon on Bob (that was made possible by this post) was pretty bad, only Zak gets town points from my perspective because switching from one townie to an other at the last minute is pretty weird scum play and puts him in the light for no reason. Novice sounds fine for now, so out of our myslynching loy Matt is looking shadier. Shadeun is also on my watch list along with Lewwyn.

That was a really fun writeup Jabbz, I like the theme.

I am now Enlightened Glum, and so I see clear. Hopefully.

Rowain is still my top suspect. I’m a bit surprised, and slightly suspicious, that I got such absolute zero traction on the case. No other scum eager to help throw dirt on a strong town player?

(May 12th, 2015, 08:03)Rowain Wrote: It is objectively most likely a null-tell. But since it concerns me directly I 'm not totally objective. So it did increase my "lynch Lewwyn"-urge. But only slightly and considering we are at gamestart simple revenge-votes are bad => Me acting on my subjective feeling about his vote would be antitown.

There’s no ‘evidence’ per se, but we are an anarchic band of criminals so luckily we don’t need to follow due process. These posts just read wolfy over-explanation to me. I think of Rowain as pithier than this.

Novice then flirted with voting Rowain, and he defended with:

(May 12th, 2015, 16:43)Rowain Wrote: Maybe but an early head to head deadlock gives no info at all. Makes it also easy for scum to hide.

Which is kind of a meta defense.

He justifies a vote on Adrien by saying that Adrien has ‘earned the most scumpoints so far’, but he doesn’t go into any details about what those are until Zak prods him. Nor does he try to force the lynch through at deadline, though in his defence it looked set to cruise through before the last minute.

Finally, my experience of Rowain is that he slaps down attacks against him by laughing them off or lashing back. His friendly engagement with me on the subject is welcome, but just feels slightly off. His suggestion that he wanted to change his game up by asking less questions and being less active is a crap defense. Everything feels off! Rowain smells like month-old milk my friends.

Am I wrong? Why did nobody but Zak comment, are other people giving Rowain a town lean?

On other points, I don’t know about Adrien but I don’t think he’s teamed with Rowain, which I guess gives me a meta-town lean on him. I also side slightly with his argument that his (or anyone’s) serial killer play is likely to be closer to their town game than their wolf game.

Lewwyn, did this mean you think the Glum is Scum?

IDK, Rowain was bad at first but got better when several people (at least Zak and I) asked him to play for real. I'm in favor of finding his scumbuddy first.

Well I admit that I am deep in the tunnel now, so I'll take a broader look after the night kill.

Bring on the real Rowain. I feel confused and alone without rowain questioning every second letter I type. <3
