Here's what the rest of our cities are doing. One University has already been built (in Speed Limit) and three more complete next turn, at which point we can consider turning on science again. NFD and Poh are waiting for chops to come in before they whip theirs to completion. If Pocket Bullets needs a build while waiting for the rest of the Universities, we can build a missionary or two.



Finally, lengthy diplo with Ruff.

Hmmm, interesting. This is Ruff's big chance and he should go for it. Not that ad hoc is really in a position to threaten us, but this will certainly shore up one flank if we were in any doubts before.

Perhaps Ruff is taking this spy lark a bit too far with all the subterfuge and double bluffs.

We've actually been pretty straight talking in this one.

It's funny that the shrine hasn't had that big an effect when you measure it against 100% gold, although it will make a nice difference as it enables us to research at broadly 10% higher. I'm looking forward to switching research back on... :-)

I think not, but it could have been fun.

This will be a nice option when we decide to declare on Pegasus since it will stop TT donating troops to Pegasus or supporting him with his own troops.

And we have enough votes with Ruff to pass it, so Pegasus would have to veto it and suffer the unhappiness...

As ad hoc has no Christian cities, does that mean ad hoc would be exempt from the forced war declaration?

EDIT: Wow, TT's power graph has spiked substantially, and it looks like ad hoc is starting to arm up. Not Pegasus yet. And TT is still under Pegasus (although with fewer cities he will probably have a bigger army). We could do with another boat by the SW mountains to keep an eye out for invaders.
