yes. 1 unit gets 20 xp from an attached GG and 10 from the 2nd. The 2nd unit get an attached GG and 10 xp.

Wouldn't you be able to get to woody III/Medic III on any (edit: eligible) unit by attaching a GG (for medic III) and then "sprinkling" exp into the unit to get the additional exp for the needed woody promotion? Certainly this may not be the most effective use of GGs, but it seems like it is theoretically possible. Is this correct?

Yeah that's the straightforward way to do it, if you have the GGs to spare.

I must have misunderstood some of ATs abbreviations.

to be clear - - I was trying to refer to Woody III/Medic III smile

Impi make great medics as well. You get them early enough to get 10xp off barb warriors, they come with 2 moves and Mobility. Musketeers work well also.

With Impi you can easily have a woody3 2-mover in your first war. Agg and/or Cha just add to that.
