Parkin is currently saving gold on priesthood (teching with his GL scientists).

Parkin, I am happy to make a deal that we don't put more EP on each other and I won't share your research choices here. I don't think you have any reason to need EP on us anyway. We are out of the running.

Yeah, turns out all you need for that is AH + Wheel apparently.

Lewwyn Wrote:Hi Team FFH. I am your direct Eastern Neighbor. I've been avoiding contact so that you wouldn't know. lol But now our borders are only a few tiles from each other. Please do not settle any further East as I would have to assume a hostile stance. You may also see my chariot there. I moved him at the beginning of the turn. I could have waited and double moved you, killed your skirmisher or sniped your worker, but I hope this is a show of good faith. No killing... nono

Oh and you may settle the plains cow south of your city there, but I wish to settle the bananas south and more east of that.

Opinions?

Thanks, honourable Lewwyn! I knew the reputation this other players gave to you of a Mad-Dog bounty hunter wasn't true.

Well, getting to business, I have to say I explored a lot to the east. All that big jungle area and so. But I haven't found your borders in the vastdom that is, what, 15 tiles? So, sorry, my friend, but I can't let you get all that area just like that. I'm open to further negotiations, though. We get a bit more, you get a bit less, a little compromise here, a little compromise there. You know the deal, right?

And you have to take into account that the powerful Mooglian empire is right there to the south. You wouldn't want to get all the land from them, right?

So, give me sometime to debate this with my team and we will get back at you. But if worst comes to worst, what's a little war between friends? I won't double move you either, anyway. thumbsup

Lewwyn Wrote:Who says I'm not going to fight anyone?

Oh, I should have directed my comment better. My intent was to make a totally transparent suggestion to HAK and Plako to help me make the world safe from large stones shaped like pyramids. I was intending to direct the comment at them since we've met in game and they're at least near the Hunter Gatherers (relatively speaking anyway -- I'm almost certainly their only neighbor on this end of the world).

But Lewwyn, I obviously support you making war either on or with anyone and everyone you've met, since that doesn't include me! lol

Pindicator, you moved to a really, really bad spot. I don't want to kill your scout but Mali is chasing the troops you can see next to him and I HAVE to move on the tile your scout is on. Please remove him asap, otherwise I can't guarantee for his safety.

And Mali, move back east. I am fine we no troops of Rome going closer then two tiles to your borders if you do the same in regards to ours. Otherwise I'll guarantee that we are both out of this game. And honestly, the one running away is sunrise, not Rome nor Mali. Would be a shame if we would fight and have him pick up the remains, wouldn't it?

Serdoa, I will do my best to move the scout when the turn rolls but if he is there when you need to move then I hope you can at least make good use of the XP.

Totally.

Mnnn... Check again now. My borders are currently 3 tiles from yours and when the first ring pops there will be 2 tiles of space between my city and your city, "Greed". There isn't any space for you east of Greed. If you do try to settle the banana that I specified earlier, you will be south of my city, "Commodore" and I will simply cut off supply lines and take it. So... up to you there.

Not sure what you mean by this. Are you suggesting that I should be worried about Moogle snapping up all the Jungle? Goddamn Jungle.

Ok, so I guess you have a city 1S1SW of the clams (which is also 1SE of the cows), am I right?

So, we could make a natural border between our two cities and that banana resource you talk about wouldn't be on the south of your city. It'd be closer to Greed, as I'm sure you can see.

How about if I settle a city 1SE of the bananas? I'd really like to get a part of those plentiful dyes. This way you'd get a lot of land (more dyes too), but I wouldn't feel bad about it.

And what is Commodore? Are you naming the cities after the players? I couldn't understand what you were trying to say.

I need to look at the map to see for sure. I mean problem for me is I've got barely any food resources. I have shit upon shit. And that banana is plum. I mean I know where your capital is got a hut map and all and that's pretty far away.

I'll consider it. The dye is a health argument. I just... I'm like # 11 in crop and yield its fucking pitiful.

Yeah city is named Commodore. I've been naming cities after eliminated players... Then I ran out. So I named it after soon to be eliminated players. :neenernee
