Y'know what, I really can't pin anyone down.

There's a lot of players I don't really like in this game, but when I judge like that I'm more often than not wrong.

Thus I'm going with my gut. I think lynching novice is the way forward and it would need a lot to change my mind.

I keep feeling he is playing the master vote manipulator here. He has the record to be respected by players for what he does, as soon as he can even half prove some village cred. If he turns out to be mafia, I think we may have more useful threads to follow.

If he is innocent, then I think 'using a mislynch' on someone like novice again may allow us to have a greater picture of what is going on. If we go after lurkers like Merovech or Selrahc and use a mislynch on them, then I think we have no real new info, and if they are mafia then I don't think it will lead us anywhere. I expect us to make some mislynches in this game, so I'd rather take the risk on novice now when we still have time for it not to be fatal if we are wrong.

I think Rowain makes a compelling argument for Selrahc, spending limited time discussing villager novice faking a post restriction is bizarre and grossly unhelpful. That said, I do believe he has connection problems. How about whipping him around a bit (requesting quality input with what limited time he has) and revisiting him tomorrow?

If only I had some power where I could nightly submit a name to brick and tomorrow I'd be able to talk to them in private all day. I certainly didn't use it well as wolf - was too busy spamming the main thread - but I can see it being very helpful as a villager. I wonder what's in the mason quicktopic? i guess we have to wait until the end.

While I could agree that WW16 Waterbat does seem similar to WW15 Waterbat, that could just be his style.

Meanwhile, no read on Injera.

But seriously ... soooo many people left alive? Sounds like the kind of "calm down, its alright, we won't hurt you" sort of thing, combined with "Grr, frustrated that there are so many villagers left to kill".

Meanwhile, from the villager perspective, there are not nearly enough people left alive.
