The happiest person right now is OJ Simpson, because he’s not longer the biggest pariah living in the state of Florida.

I’m sure his buddy Putin gave him some Novichok for it. I wouldn’t open that letter for all the tea in China.

I’ll stop spamming the thread. Or at least try to stop.

Shouldn't that be McConnell, or maybe Manchin?

Got my first shot of the Pfizer vaccine last week; only side effect was some arm pain (though this may have resulted from doing pushups afterwards) and a mild headache, both of which vanished within a day.

Congrats! How does it work in the US, do you pay for your own vaccine shot? Or does it depend on insurance.

Getting the vaccine shot is the hard part.

Pretty sure we're not directly paying for it; COVID testing is also federally covered if you're not insured (although when I got tested, insurance paid the standard $100 cost).

And yes, Bob, you're right - McConnell is the real hold up here. He's intentionally filibustering the organization resolution that would make the Senate run the way it needs to - he's the one messing things up. I'm hoping he's overplaying his hand and is going to get the filibuster removed because there's just no way this level of obstruction can be sustained.

I didn't have to pay for the shot; not sure about other states, but I don't think anyone does in VA.

No US citizen is supposed to have to pay for a vaccination.

Depends which you're talking about, right? My employer has covered mine for the last several years, but I'm pretty sure I've paid for a flu shot before.
