For those looking for an authentic "Elo Hell" experience (why oh why):

I went and downloaded LolReplay again - really like the way they now host any replay you care to upload. I then did a search on myself, as you do, to see if there were any good games uploaded by people that I'd played with.
Found this ranked game from around 4 months ago:

It's only around 25 mins long, was on NA server so will have been around 1250-1350 ELO and given the enemy team composition, *could* have been an easy win. I think it's a good example of why, although I have no doubt you can, it's imo a lot harder to get out of this turbulent range while playing support.

The replay is from the Twisted Fate's point of view and was actually uploaded by him (rgangwer).
I was curious why, so went and did a search, turns out it was part of this thread created by him.
He put it up as an example of himself doing well on his main, so clearly he felt (as per the chat ingame) that he was the aggrieved party here.

I'll let the viewer decide on that matter.

I continue to question what my real ELO rank should be.

Based on what I watch, I'd rate myself in the 1400 range based on knowledge of the game, proper map awareness, understanding global objectives. But I'm pretty sure my mechanics are closer to 1200.

Guess I can just infuriate myself and play lots of ranked to find out....
