I'm evil. shhh

Have you ever thought about the Great artist icon and how it has a little skull on it? I was thinking about it as I gazed upon our army of artists.

Culture, Beautiful Culture:

T1 is being weird. They advanced the main stack, but left the little stack behind on the hill they moved it onto last turn. So its not moving forward or back:

Additionally their one G2 Infantry has vision on the stack I'm hiding behind the city. I was hoping he'd see it. I wanted it to seem like I was actually defending this front and not just ceding land to protect Milkshake. I mean if I didn't put up any fight it'd be a little weird. The first city was understandable because it was in a slightly bad spot. This time if I was legitimately defending I would defend. And hell maybe I WILL hit that stack. The units aren't necessarily needed at Milkshake:

The best they can do is road that jungle next turn with some fast workers and move in some 2-movers, either tanks or cav and hope to take the city. You can see I have 10 units in there ATM and we have another 30 jans/cats coming from ASM's land in 3t. I also have 6 units in the cap. They would need to road the jungle and move in at the least 18 2-movers and win every battle with no siege. If they didn't I'd have 30 units of reinforcements plus another 50 within another turn from the other side. So yeah. Do they have such an army hidden? :

Survey says not likely.

How about T4:

They have another galley. SO 2 galleys, 4 rifles. They could double fort there and gain access to the sea next to Istanbul, but I doubt they'll do that plus we could see it coming. And even then the galleys might not make it in time at this point.

T3 I've discussed, and no change there beyond me adding even more units to the Beijing defense bone wall.

Istanbul:

On track.

Milkshake:

On track

Beijing:

On track. Also the GP is 100% artist so no 1% chance of a GProphet or something.

So basically the upshot of this entire game is T1 was clueless and T3 was half a turn late... IF we win... No jinx please.

So T3 has moved forward, but no new reinforcements yet. When I lose the city, T3 will regain the horse tile so they will be able to move reinforcement along that tile but any reinforcements will still be a turn behind.

Also I see now what you meant ASM about them losing a turn IF they move their entire army into Macau. I'm planning to abandon Macau though next turn so they could raze it with a single unit and beeline the rest of the army to Beijing. But I have no idea if T3 knows HOW close we are. So maybe they will try to hold the city. One thing you have to remember is that T3 wants to stop us, yes, but after they stop us they have to take all of our land so that they can go after T1. We're completely focused on ending the game now, they are trying to stop us while putting themselves in position to win after that. So they may try to keep the city and leave a couple MGs in the city. I'm considering leaving a few units in the city to distract them, but I think it would be best to save them all to sit in Beijing.

If you can, spare a single musket to sit in there so they have to bombard it to take it with a single unit. Those 85%+25%=110% bonuses are kinda tough to crack. Also, I know you're building cuirs everywhere but if you are just turtling, it might be worth while to shove tons of explorers into Beijing since they are the cheapest thing we can build.

I have left a couple of units there plus a new CKN finished in the city this turn so there are 4 units in the newly renamed city of "Y U No Like Meh" :

Also I sent a worker to spy and renamed it "I am a spy"

T4 has built another galley and is sending another rifle up. 1 rifle. The problem is their worker is on the hill SE of the city with no road so it won't be able to move and start forting. What are they going to do? send 3 galleys of rifles around the horn and attack ASM's isthmus city? Too long and we have like 15 Jans in that city. The best plan would have been the forts I outlined earlier, but they don't have the workers in play for that.

Onto T1:

Hey look they're building a well for their oil. Also they are moving their stack the slow way. Along teh hills. Yes let us stroll through the hills friends. We can take our time, theres nothing urgent here. :neenernee

They also have not brought any units south of Milkshake again this turn. I'm looking at 40 ish units inside of Milkshake in 2 turns.

Beijing already has 140 units + the 66 coming from wonderland + the stack coming from the city previously known as macau + all the MP archers and warriors from ALL the cities. Seriously. All the cities are empty. lol

Culture is right on track in all cities no changes.

So we've killed 4 units and bled off another 6 or so:

Rest of the army is beelining for Beijing.

Thanks. And here's to hoping that we don't have to keep it up much longer. lol

I am thinking about attacking T1's stack if they move next to the city. I don't even know if I'd be able to wipe it, but I'd free up some unit costs and it'd be fun. The units no longer figure into my main defense plan anyway. Also if I fail to kill the stack I might get a funny or ironic reaction from Speaker and Sullla for when I read their threads since, really, they seem to have no idea.

I may have to rename LOLOLOLOL to Leeroy Jenkins.
