Top message Kyan. I was convinced non response was better until I read it. Although I think you should remove the part where you suggest they should have gone public rather than private. Not least because going public would also have been a crappy thing to do... but mainly because it doesn't really serve any purpose except to antagonise him into possibly arguing his point, rather than shaming him about his actions which the rest of the message does so eloquently.

Words, words, words. What exactly are we aiming to achieve with this message? It will almost certainly be shared with the rest of the CFC team, especially if the way they're coordinating in the rule arguing thread is any indication.

Also, don't forget 2metra is Bulgarian and has... questionable command of English. Tone is good but be careful to avoid being too verbose or too subtle with diplo directly with him.


I strongly suspect most of the other forums are losing interest in this farce at this point, a month of rules lawyering will kill this game.

The first two paragraphs are too weak, too whiny, too self-effacing, and not enough relevant details. Needs more talking down, less begging for mercy. CFC have aligned themselves as mortal enemies already, they will be building up a alliance against us, and we have to shatter it and convince them their self-proclaimed leader is incompetent and should not be allowed to dictate strategic directions.

Just tell him we have a ton of people who are sick of bullshit and want to get on with the game. Not to mention the first two paragraphs don't lead onto paragraph 3 sufficiently. Pointing out the hypocrisy is fine, of course, and will be a trump card if they try to bring it up in public.

I take it you're talking about the third paragraph?

You know, another route we could take is to just let them think they're making inroads. Say we are very glad they pointed out that link and we will have to read over the thread. But I would not make this kind of play unless Lord Parkin gave his full backing to it. I bet the next thing that they do is PM Lord Parking separately to tell him how awful we are and how he should swap teams to join someone who appreciates him

Pindicator- let's avoid outsmarting ourselves for now. I can't see what that would achieve long term. However, I do like your way of thinking and this kind of thought will be great for actual diplomacy.
