I have no idea what my steam name is if it isn't the same as my user name. Also, i don't have GMR installed yet, so i'll do that when i get home from work. Sadly that is about 7 hours away

It should be your "user name" (NOT account name). If you go in steam to your profiel and choose to edit it, you can set a profile name. Thats the name davy needs.

I've accepted the game and choose my civ. Do I need to encrypt my password (which I don't have yet) or is that unnecessary?

Pretty sure not, I didn't have to in the first GMR game we played.

Ok, i'm now signed up with GMR. "Pindicator" should now be searchable through the program
