[SPOILERS] Nakor and Jester..Second time's a charm :)

First the good news...

Really nice overflow (then again I did calculate it out beforehand). After the worker, it will take 3t to grow back to sz 4 so we'll be able to get out 2 warriors before starting another worker. Afterwards probably go axe then settler. The bad news...the warrior with 1 XP died trying to attack the lion @ 73% odds. Since we need to get rid of the lion in order to road to the copper site, I took a gamble to try and get a promotion on the warrior. Probably should have waited until next turn. First barb loss so I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. frown

No problem. Just let those animals attack us next time...

Cleaned up the lion and we're set to found our third city next turn. We'll have copper online in 8t. Moria grew to sz 2 and switched over to building a worker. The demos...

Not much else going on.

The route west past the Gavagai situation...

Don't know why he isn't even trying to hook up his copper. I guess Gandhi's meandering is making him nervous. cool Are we the first to three cities?

Once we have those workers and better units, we can hit the expansion button again.
But we need to get some commerce going or we'll crash...

Yeah. Copper then gold need to be hooked up. We still should have a really quick fourth city though. pimp

Our capitol...

With the chop, the worker will complete in 3t. After the worker completes, we can grow on a granary since warriors aren't going to be useful much longer and we can't afford another city right now.

Sacagawea checked on Gavagai's copper tile (woody II FTW) and still no worker in sight although the warrior is still there. He did get a power jump so I am guessing he researched AH. I am not sure if his scout ever got vision on the copper near us, but he would definitely know we don't have copper (or horses if he did indeed research AH) in our capitol. That might explain why he doesn't seem to be in a rush to hook up copper. There is also the possibility he has horses (so wouldn't care about axes).

Although I really would like to build the Mids, the better city is desert hill. I am pretty sure we can reach Writing by the time we settle desert hill but not Masonry and Writing. I guess what I am trying to say is Writing after Pottery makes the most sense given our empire's development. Running our commerce through a library will help mitigate the fact the horse site is relatively far away from our capitol (and will be a big drain on our economy early on).

You know we are building a warrior and not a worker at Redemption?

Things are still looking good, but this game is crawling like a turtle...
Hope we can speed it up soon.
