On the non-idiotic-mistakes side, I founded the Horses city; will have the horses hooked up in two turns. Maybe Chariots will save me when Jowy comes knocking.
Wait, what? We lost 7 units for nothing? If you don't reload, that's certainly game over (and probably game over for the rest of the civs, unless someone else conquered their continent by T100).

How do you accidentally suicide 7 units? He must have mis-clicked with one of them and then decided to throw good money after bad.

Probably stack attack.

I was trying to figure out why all these archers were attacking vultures in the first place. Seemed like it was either a brilliant strategy or doomed to failure. I guess doomed to failure was correct...

If he is being truthful about misclicking the stack into suicide, reload would not be unreasonable.
It was his fault, but this move will have serious consequences on this continent. Not like missing a worker turn or two.

Is could be that the attack was intended...perhaps misclick first, then he though he could get odds eventually...but kept losing close battles. Dunno what jowy had in town. If sims indicate that he had a chance, maybe not reload...because if he had gotten lucky with the misclick we would not reload...

My opinion as a lurker is that there's absolutely no reason for a reload here.

Not going to argue since he doesn't want one.

Lucky break for Jowy, free exp and security for now while he can tech to cats is good result.

What was Fenn's purpose with the 2axe-7+ archer stack? Pillaging campaign? Probe for weaker cities further into Jowy lands? Interdict troops movements from hilly defensive terrain? Tie down Jowy forces to give Adrdoc a respite? Can't really tell.
