Because browsing the thread is difficult, and I'm basically just reading stuff and replying from the current page?

How the hell do you think I'm going to be able to "review the thread and come up with good theories" when I've probably missed massive swathes of the thread and that is just as big of a problem.

I'm not an informed participant here. I can't keep abreast of thread developments, and my attempts to contribute otherwise have failed.

@pindicator - went back and looked anyway...

it was posts 1024,1027,1031,1035 i was writing my post about ab 70 minutes before the deadline but i ran out of time and did not hit submit. Just as I was writing my post i saw your recent ones there and thought i might be wrong, BUT i have to vote for one of these two.

so i put your name in RED. (even though i was partially convinced by the posts above)

I know that doesnt seem right, but I felt like i HAD to make a meaningful vote. No more uberfish lynch fantasy.

When i came back and realized i hadn't hit submit and saw a lot of votes and posts that i had no way of counting, i backed off.

uberfish Wrote:Unfortunately at this stage we don't yet know Pind's alignment which would clarify some things. but in general we have two groups here, the group that just wants to lynch Sareln/Uberfish/(Catwalk) and those more actively investigating other targets. I feel there's enough people in that first group that whichever scum are in there didn't necessarily need to initiate the moves towards Sareln or Myself at the end of day even if Pind was assumed to be scum. Currently I suspect the passive vote parkers a bit more (Mero, Arro, Azza). Simply because going "let's try to mislynch these villagers for saving thestick" is the path of least resistance for scum to take to salvage something out of Thestick getting lynched d1.

There might well be a scum with decent cover in the Novice/Gaspar/Injera/Lewwyn/Jkaen group that decided to mostly ignore the d1 voting controversy and push Selrahc for lurking and later Ichabod for being defensive. I'll worry about that later, as I interpret not being content to sit on Sareln or myself as overall being pro-town activity.

probably be able to extract more information from this if one of Pind/Ichabod flips scum.

I agree with this, specially due to my bit of extra info (knowing my alignment). My take on Pindicator right now is the following:

Pindicator is very competitive, even though he's one to take a smug attitude (I'd venture to say the opposite, a bit). I think he would be playing this game with more effort/agressiveness from day 1 if he was a wolf (something similar to what he did on his first wolf game, where I think he really hated my guts because I suspected him lol), with more "eye of the tiger", to use a quote from a rocky movie.

I didn't see this eye of the tiger on day 1, but when he started to get targetted at day 2, I noticed this change. This leads me to believe he was a villager fighting against a mislynch, that suddenly realised the importance of the game. I think he has been more commited since then.

Maybe the fact that he was celebrating his birthday is skewing my view and he was a commited mafia that was away, but right now, I don't think so. So I think day 2 was villager/villager/villager. If I'm wrong, that's a sort of a birthday present to you, Pindicator. lol

I can read that , so I dont even have to refer back.

WHY RUSH?

yes ... agreed. That sounds terrible. I just felt like Tasunke was freaking out because he couldnt figure out which candidate he liked and it was only 4-3-3 with half the people (also where i discovered there were soooooo many still in the game). so i tried to calm him. No other reason. I realize that seems like a damning lack of urgency, but i meant it.

i actually then did a full vote count - because i didn't even know who the candidates Tasunke was referring to were. I only realized towards the end that Brick had done one at 10:00.

I did the count from my phone with an actual pencil and paper, believe it or not. Was in the loo suffering from food poisoning (I hope). If this was a wolf game instead of a mafia game, you might be tempted to imply that I got it from eating zakalwe or Serdoa or Bigger.

Makes Meiz think Ichabod is villager.

What happened in those posts is Ichabod first said that Meiz had voted Thestick, but then corrected himself in post 1214.

Actually I said that thestick had attacked Meiz on day 1, which led me to believe that Meiz was more villager (I was answering to Gaspar's accusation). But that was not what happened, thestick never attacked Meiz, that was more of a talk between Meiz and thestick.

Regarding Meiz, I think Gaspar's case is goo too (I like the three cases made by Gaspar) and I don't fully buy this post-restriction. Would the scum use a thing like that right now? Why? Theorethically, each post restriction means a cleared villager and at this rate, the game would be easy for the village soon. Besides, wouldn't it be better to save post-restrictions for later in the game (I wouldn't think this is an unlimited use power)?

I can buy the PR on novice, but I can't buy the one on Meiz. Meiz was starting to get heat and then this happens? Why not restrict a more cleared villager, why not wait? There's something fishy about this, in my opinion, but since I can't yet put my finger on it, I think it can wait. besides, why not use this absurdly harmful post restriction on Novice? The "quotes restriction" is harmful, but not that harmful...

And add to that the fact that Meiz seems to be contributing more with a post restriction than without one and we have a very, very suspicious scenario. But then again, better take the tinfoil hat for now.

yes - why give novice the PR he is accustomed to - for lolz?

in that case, give me the chicken you cowards!!

also - it might not be faking. There is nothing to say that a wolf can't use a power on another wolf. I was going to neighborize BRick or novice last game just to make sure i didn't mysteriously hit a clean target each night (which I ended up doing).

Anyway, its something to file away for later.

Rowain Wrote:@Selrahc The fact that even when you find time and access to post you use it for useless triades how poor you are. The fact that you find the time and followed the thread enough) to make this post during the night but sadly nothing that helps town in anyway or form makes me vote for you.

I do read the above mentioned post as a wolf trying to fan the flames while some villagers bang heads.

That post you quoted, Rowain, is one that you can make with little read time = little time of internet access. Why? Becuase it relies only on the most easy to catch info of the thread (even skimming very fast you would see that Novice had a PR) and in your own thoughts about the topic. I'd say that post clearly shows Selrahc doesn't have time, not the opposite.

I generally agree with Ichabod's Meiz theory, though the thing that gets me from tinfoil hatting (well other than we have better candidates at the moment, IMO) is that with Meiz catching some heat at the end of the day, if he were scum one would think it would be safer to let him defend. Though, on a 3rd note the heat was generally mine alone, I don't recall anyone agreeing with me.

On the using PR charges things - yeah, would assume there's a limited number, I think I had 4-5 in FFH game. I'd agree that in a large game better to save it for later unless the wolf with the power doesn't expect to survive. Course I was village that game, but the power has been pretty clearly used in an anti-village way.

This is why I don't tinfoil hat - its too damned confusing. I guess the point of this post is that I don't think the PR confirms or damns Meiz and I don't think there's any more information to be had otherwise right now, but definitely worth revisiting later.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
