I've been getting all the good arenas, sorry pin.
Had a 9, two 11s, then a 3, and then this gorgeous deck: ![]() Every single card in here played a key role in one game or another. I mean the non-zombie chow early drops could have been most anything, but I was totally happy with them. I had the equality/consecrate combo, the kodo/peacekeeper combo, and I also picked a deathlord pretty highly due to my 3 blessings of kings. The closest game was #6 against a shaman. I was doing well until he mind control teched away my slime taunt and was able to reclaim the top board position with a really good trade. Then I clawed back to the top and he mind controlled me AGAIN, getting sludge belcher and totally wrecking me. Then somehow I came back (I think it involved hammer of wrath on his divine shield guy drawing consecrate to kill all his guys) but he played deathwing. I killed it with topdecked equality + equipped truesilver champion and beat him after we'd both run out of cards. After that game I played around mind control tech a lot more and it totally saved my ass against a really aggressive druid. He didn't play his oldest card until I was beating him down, and lo, it was indeed mind control tech! I had been holding back on making a fourth guy, to great inconvenience - I only stabilized at 3 life - for quite a few turns. That was game #10 and I had to play him again for #11. This time I won more easily. Final boss was a weird warlock deck with tons of removal including 2 hellfires and twisting nether. It wasn't too hard. It's so nice to get those good class cards. ![]()
I had my first 0-3 ever with paladin recently, didn't even think that was possible

I always forget to take screenshots.
Arena, 7-1 with rogue. Luckily I am blessed with fearsome artistic powers so you can't even tell I made this "screenshot" myself. So this situation: (Mage has 24 HP, it's a bit hard to see in the "screenshot") ![]() I'm dead next turn, half thinking about conceding, but decide to play the Sprint. Draw backstab and betrayal. So backstab yeti, betrayal worgen to kill both yetis, then I hit worgen with my dagger. Good value from that 2 mana. Won 3 turns later since I had total board control, fortunately no frostbolts or fireballs Love comebacks, not so much when I'm the one on the other side.
Played: FFH PBEM XXVI (Rhoanna) FFH PBEM XXV (Shekinah) FFH PBEM XXX (Flauros) Pitboss 11 (Kublai Rome)
Playing:Pitboss 18 (Ghengis Portugal) PBEM 60 - AI start (Napoleon Inca)
Oh my god.
I was 11-2 with a decent rogue deck and my paladin opponent had me on the ropes at 9 life facing a 6 minion board that included an 8/8 and a knife juggler. I thought OK, I'll just dagger up and attack his 8/8, maybe he will enjoy killing me with his hero power or by ending turn and letting imp master's new imp knife me. So I attack down to 1 and end turn. He looks at his cards a bit but doesn't do anything, and meanwhile I am off doing other stuff waiting to hear some sort of death sound. It finally gets down to the rope and he still isn't doing anything, and then just as his turn is about to be forcefully ended, hearthstone says: "Your opponent left". GG, 12 wins. Sudoku attempt failed! :D
Loved the drawing, Molach. So simple, yet essentialy what the characters are about.
Anyone watched the recent competitions? Blizzcon qualifiers had better games than the big chinese one, at least from what I've managed to see. Most of the famous players/streamers seems to not be that good and just get into competitions due to fame/grinding, so the competition that has qualifiers by competence ends up being better.
actually when I looked at Molach's drawing my immediate reaction was "why is the match snail vs mushroom"?
