Gaspar Wrote:Uh. Thank god novice is translating Meiz for me, that made my head hurt. Anyway, going to address my main thing and follow up with some quick thoughts from my morning skim...
Rowain, I find it interesting that you've latched onto the piggybacking accusation but not so much the low content one. I guess my issue is this - if you liked the pindicator lynch so much that you parked your vote on him all day, I would expect that you would have come back to it and try and convince others, as you would expect strong feelings about it given that you never wavered. We know you had time to do this since you were playing Columbo with everyone else all day, but you didn't. That's why it looks like a scummy vote park rather than a village conviction. And if you were so convinced, why have you not made said case today instead of just getting annoyed? I can't speak for the others but what I'd like is some insight from you, in theory you are picking this up given your aggressive evidence gathering.
Good point, Gaspar, but... you see, villagers do that too... No one is voting for me right, now, for example and no one is voting for Pindicator either. Besides, Rowain was all over the place in the beggining of day 2, he voted for me, Qgqqqq and another player (I think) before Pindicator. He was not so sure about Pindicator like his long vote time on him could show.
I'll vote Arromir for now, to see if this makes him contribute more. Later I want more targtes, since I'm not liking neither Rowain that much and I don't see any point in voting Selrahc. I think I'll research Injera and Lewwyn afterwards, since i got a feeling that something is wrong there. Meiz will get more time, due to this PR and the fact that I won't waste time waiting for him to answer with the PR.
By the way, Molach is also in heavy lurker mode (not the usual light lurker mode from villager Molach), but I seem to reccall him saying he would have something to do. And Mattimeo is also pretty suspicious. His vote on me today was very bad. If it wasn't for his claim, he'd be very high in my suspect list.
Players not voting: Arromir, Injera, Molach, Selrahc
I will be gone for a while with IRL stuff, so next official vote count will either come from Commodore later today, if he can get to it, or if not I will post it tomorrow morning. There will definitely be one before we reach the 5 hours left in the day mark.
The bolded point seems particularly bizarre to me. Everyone's already assuming I'm innocent, and forming their conceptions around that assumption. So how would confirming my innocence enlighten us?
There is a large gap between assumption and fact

I have answered your other point as well. And no I don't campaign for a lynch. I didn't do it for Bigger , I didn't do it for pindi and I won't do it for Selrahc (or any othe suspect).
I give reason why I vote the way I do, I answer questions but I don't campaign. You can accept it or not thats your problem. As far as I know both my questions to the various people as their answers are public visible so everyone here can read them and draw their own conclusions which is BTW also a way to find scum.
Matt-please reread my night 1 and day 2 posts if you think I havent taken strong opinions. I'm fine with being under pressure, as my votes have been horrible and I'm sure I'm unitentionally acting scummy to someone, but TT and you are attacking me for things that are blatantly false.
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.
1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.
2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.
3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.
4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.

Excuse me, but I've barely touched you, let alone 'attacked' you
