I wonder if it is worth offering him peace once taking Ise. Yuris isn't normally the kind of player to hold a grudge, but he seems to have nothing pushing him towards attacking Scooter. I put good odds on him wanting to keep fighting to take the city back. We should make sure all the cities in the area have walls and longbows if possible. I think it helped (in combo with a bunch of scrambled archers) to cause scooter to give up on the 5-galley ad hoc invasion he was putting together 30 turns (or whatever) ago. We have more power than him, he still has those 3 galleys over by his nearest city, but the important part was the caravels.
Anyway, he accepted the peace offer. |
