Don't worry, we'll keep this thing going. We might have a bit of a slowdown over the Thanksgiving holiday because people may be busy (I'll be in Hawaii), but everyone seems to play their turns pretty quickly.

T163: Way too expensive to foment a turn of revolt. Looks like we would have to use several turns at max EPs. We can still win the race to Liberalism, so this doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Decide to simply use the spies to foment unhappiness and poison the water to try and convince the AI not to really use slavery. Cat down defenses 60% to 34%.

T164: Cat down 34% to 9%. Get random event wanting us to capture the holy city of Bibracte. Thanks, we'll get right on that.

T165: Cat down to 0%. Suicide 4 cats. Take Bibracte this turn. This gives us the Hindu holy city. Slave off unhappy citizens to get rid of excess unhappiness to build a Coliseum. GArtist bomb Bibracte. Get a solid 150-ish gold for the capture. Civil Service in. Convert to Bureaucracy.

T166: We get the random event a choice between spreading Hinduism to 7 extra cities (we now have the shrine) or 4 extra Axes. I take the 7 extra cities, and we now have a our future Wall Street city. I promote our remaining stack to heal them and head for the next Mansa target. Mausoleum of Maussaulos finishes in UP.

T167: Another GArtist born. I will use this to culture bomb the next Mansa city. Units aligned to move on Tolosa. Mansa converts to Judaism. We should do the same.

T168: I see Mansa trying to bring units to reinforce Tolosa. Go ahead and attack. Suicide 3 City Raider cats. City only has 3 Longbows and an Axeman. Our WEs do well. We take Tolosa. This gives us the Christian holy city. Slave off unhappy citizens to make a Coliseum. Culture bomb Tolosa. Make peace with Mansa. He has 3 cities left, but only one we really want. More money for capturing Tolosa. We now have 650 gold and can research at -60gpt at 80% to finish Paper in 2-turns. Sistine Chapel finishes in Tyr.

Should we convert to Judaism?

Paper due in one turn. We will be the first to Paper of the civs that we have research visibility on. We will still need to grab Philosophy which Cyrus already has, but it looks like we may be able to win the race to Liberalism if no one out there in the fog is too far ahead.

Speaking of which, we might want to get some more ships up to explore. We need new trading partners.

What do we want to do with our GGeneral?

Do we build another stack and take out the last major Mansa city on our continent?

Heroic Epic should be built in UP.

I definitely think we need to take out Vienne. It will relieve the culture pressure on the other cities, but will also serve as a solid land defence against Cyrus.

Judaism conversion is a must - just look at the power ratings! Keep Cyrus sweet and we should be able to handle Brennus' likely attack.

GG should attach as a medic if we can't build Heroic Epic yet. If we can build it, put it as an instructor in the HE city.

Yeah, nice job, especially with the lucky event!

I say we build a stack to take Vienne. Two reasons: 1) it will take forever for Bibracte to control its own BFC otherwise, and 2) it will act as a buffer city against Cyrus to avoid him taking Bibracte with a sneak attack later on.

And yeah, convert to Judaism. Let's get those religions rolling; we can start by spreading Judaism to all our major cities, and then add Christianity to our legendary cities [make sure someone builds a monastery for both before Scientific Method].

trade ivory and marble (only source) to cyrus for horses. This is only a temporary thing and i'd reccomend you cancel this ASAP Nakor but i want a chariot for a super medic with our great general. We're not using the marble currently.

totally stoned finishes a monument and begins building a courthouse. Why build a monument here? It's second ring tiles are all pap.

trade paper to Mansa Musa for 50g, world map and metal casting. a barb galley appeared over by totally stoned so i put pompeii onto a 3t trireme. Trading with mansa has no real downside at the moment as he'll be dead or irrelevant shortly anyhoo. He's still pleased with us despite the warring!
