Ok, thanks for grabbing Kuro's turn.

Am I right that you have settled the iron you were heading towards and are on 3 cities, so 'another to the east' would be city #4 that you just built the settler for?

I have an archer from speaker approaching my borders atm, trying to work out how to block it with an explorer, but dont think I can easily

Yes, city #4 would be placed near the rice on a hill in speaker's direction and would serve as one of a few critical chokes for defense in that direction. I'm hoping the explorer I have sees something there that makes me more comfortable with it...IE if speaker is RIGHT THERE or something I might have to reconsider.

I should have been able to play, but the stupid airline lost my luggage, will be back home in a week.

Somebody full time to fill in for kuro may be a good idea, sorry kuro but you are missing way too many turns

Honestly...that's fine. I really tried to play this, but I find myself missing the time window way too much, either by sheer ignorance or just lolfail. So...yeah. It's obvious I'm not doing any good. Sorry.
