Actually there are more RB'ers with a sense of humor who like to post funny pictures, crack jokes, quip, banter and the like than there are hardcore serious-types.

This just isn't the game for those funsters, unfortunately since everytime anyone tries to have any fun they get shouted down. I predict this will indeed contribute to us being international pariahs eventually, though I also predict the no fun brigade is skilled enough to overcome it.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

dazedroyalty Wrote:I understand the sentiment that it is unnecessary because it is not necessary to the game, but I'm amazed at how little our team understands the reasons for these types of posts. I get the feeling sometimes that if some RB folks were playing Risk or Settlers or some other board game, and a jovial conversation started the response would be, "Stop! I don't get why you're telling jokes--it doesn't help us win!"

This alone is why I think we should post the much discussed post.

I think he spoke for himself. Also please hold back on judging who has a sense of humour and who doesn't. For one thing humour comes in many varieties. And some people here put more emphasis on the competitive nature of this game. I don't see anything wrong with that.
We should use the wide variety of skills and talents to our benefit and not squabble about who has more sense of humour.

Sadly not as funny without the starting sequence, but it'll do. I can post it later this evening.

You mean the initial song?

Longer version without the middle scene.

Yeah. I found that version earlier, but I preferred to have it without stupid material from the uploader.

Sad it's not available in the official Python channel.

Here's a few more fantastic video clips I think we can make use of:

Sorry about that. For those who have to worry about that, there's very short full frontal nudity by Lena Olin in the Olé! one.
