Oh yeah, about strategy. Once I've captured or razed Mange, I'll retreat again. One victory doesn't mean I can just waltz into his culture and not get killed.
I'll tech Civil Service to upgrade all my Vultures. That will strengthen my army a bit. As for how to advance against Fenn, I just need to be patient and wait for him to make a mistake.
I should also assemble a stronger defense in the west. Once Mange changes hands, Mardoc could go for me, even though I'm trying to save him from Fenn.

Threw 10 catapults at his stack, then wiped it out. 14 units lost from his side, and Mange was captured.
Should have switched to Knights after maybe 7 or 8 catapults, but it's not the end of the world.
Fenn chose to threaten my city instead of my stack, which is better for me. It takes him two turns to attack the city, and would have only taken 1 turn to attack the wounded stack.
If he moves in next turn I can attack him with my stack.
Grippe does not have much of a defense. I also killed one of the pikes with a cheeky Woodsman II promoted Vulture :P
Meanwhile on the island, I miss clicked and screwed that up. It probably wouldn't have worked anyway though, I needed a lucky roll to take that city.
I shouldn't be playing war turns on the laptop but hey it's a casual game so whatevs!
I offered peace for Grippe and the island city. It's kind of an empty gesture though, I don't think he'll take it and I kinda don't want him to take it because I want to wipe out his Cho-Ko-Nu stack.
EDIT: Kinda irrationally worried about the Cho-Ko-Nu stack, cause why would he do that? Is it just bad play or am I missing something? I don't THINK he can have enough exp to double promote all those Cho-Ko-Nu's to the hill one for double movement on hills.
EDIT2: I think I'll move a few more units to the city just in case.

I seem to have lost a city to Fenn during his turn. Scared to log in tomorrow. What did I miss?
EDIT: It could just be Mange. Hopefully he attacked with full force if that's the case.

What kind of garrison did you leave in Mange?

Mostly cheap units that I had lying around. Longbows, vultures and pikes. I had my main stack a few tiles back ready to strike.
He did attack Mange. I lost 11 units, he lost 7. His were more expensive though, Cho-Ko-Nu's and Knights.
This turn I wiped out his attacking stack. He lost 12 units, I lost 4. I razed Mange this time, pretty sure that WW would go crazy if we traded that city around like I did with Mardoc.
I might lose some of my units next turn, he has a stack of Cho-Ko-Nu's in range. But I can then wipe out THAT stack, rinse and repeat until we run out of units :P
OR he'll take my peace offer. I offered peace for just his island city last turn, but he didn't take it. I sent the same offer again.
Then I sent a white peace offer after that in case he doesn't accept. I really don't WANT to, but I need to sort out my cities. I wasn't ready for 3 WW points in every city.

Fenn took peace. I'll tech Banking, whip some banks, and upgrade our vultures to macemen.
After being attacked by Fenn three times now it might be a good idea to not wait for the fourth.

Dreylin is going all-out. I take this as a sign that they are not ready to concede any time soon.
So I'm using this peace time to build as many banks, grocers and markets as I can.
Cultural slider should help with war weariness in the next war.

Demos. We're 4th or 5th overall alongside Fenn.
Empire. Currently in economic mode. I've been whipping banks and markets everywhere.
Long term plan is to build a crap ton of troops, scare Fenn into a 10T peace treaty, then finally conquer Mardoc in 10 turns.
If I can become #3 behind Wetbandit and Dreylin, I'll be happy. You know, considering I've been in war all game, got two neighbors who both want to kill me, and still running a no cottages challenge..

Wetbandit was capturing cities from Borsche, but that war ended. Now he's killing Yuris.
Dreylin is completely decimating his neighbors.
Dreylin is pushing espionage on me, might be planning to invade our continent next. It makes sense. Wetbandit can't win if Dreylin owns two full continents.

Fenn declared on Mardoc and captured a city. Shall we save Mardoc? We could easily destroy him too, but saving makes for a better story.
