Well Metternich survived, but it was close. I moved him sw onto the forest, next turn he can start healing.

Thanks for playing the turns, Iamjohn. I've been pretty bogged down. I logged in to take a look and things are looking great!

I sent this message to athlete/kalin:

Quote:Hello athlete & kalin!

Just to update you on the situation, we are approaching the "magic number" for espionage, but we regret to inform you that we have yet to meet anyone else that we can spend our EPs on. Once we do, we will shut off our espionage towards you immediately.

We get BW next turn. What do we want to head for next turn? I queued wheel --> pottery after that, is that what we want to do?

Alright, we have bronzeworking, and should finish the worker next turn. Right now the next thing in queue is a quechua, is that what we really want?

Image is worth a thousand words (actually 27 in this case):

Wheel next to connect copper once we can find it.

We might not want our southern Quechua to heal to full strength so he can keep looking for copper.

For the next build, it should probably either be a worker or a settler, chopped by the worker. I'll try to take a look in game to assess the situation a bit more, but I want to say settler first, especially if we can find "our" copper.

EDIT: Never mind. Missed that we already slow-built the worker. Can we quickly grow to 3 while training another quecha (so our 2 existing ones can look for copper) and then start settler?

PS Agree with tech path. We need granaries, and later cottages.

I'm not amazingly good at MM but this does seem the better course to me, pop=power from what I've seen at this point in the game.

Well Kalin has found the precise location of our capital. As a reminder- we don't have anything for defence, so if they were willing to break their treaty (well inferred peace, neither of our teams said anything formal) they could do the same thing we did to Mortius. If we want to we can switch production to push out a quechua in 3 turns- fast enough they couldn't rush us, but we'd have to switch this turn.

If we want to we can go to max hammers this turn, if it looks like they are heading to our city we're safe, otherwise we can go back to our regularly scheduled plans. It's up to you guys, I'm just putting out an extra option. smile

Athlete sent a response to our last email:

Quote:Hello Triumvirate!

No problem on the EP scenario as we have yet to meet anybody else as well. I suggest we help each other meet the other civs. You will see our scouting warrior Ellorrs on your western border. Maybe you can let us know where the ruined zulu civilization is so we may make an educated decision on Ellorrs path? Thanks for your help.

Sent a response to their email-

Quote:Hey Athelete/Kodii,

We're happy to see your exploring warrior Ellorrs- we greet him in the same peace you extended to us, as well as with many llamas and more importantly, fine alcoholic substances!

The remains of the zulu civilization is almost directly south of your present position. More precisely, 3W, 11S of your warrior's present position. We have seen some barbarian animals in that general direction (Lions if our sages recall correctly), we recommend you tread carefully.
