Sorry to see you go, Injera. Sounds like you kind of had a lame ability- I suppose we all have at least minor ones. Mine is kind of weak too.


So, the big question for this day (or at least one of them) is how Novice got wounded- SCUM attack, inflicted by another player, or self-inflicted as some sort of weird SCUM power? If another player did it, perhaps it would be best to reveal yourself now. It'll be hard for a SCUM to fake the claim if another player actually did the attack, and explaining your reasoning could provide extra info for anyone else with a "wounding" power, lest they decide to finish off novice absent information to corroborate their hunch, and possibly kill an innocent.

Well Injera's power seems like reverse seering.

"Hey I'm not SCUM cause I was singing to you all night". But required too many variables to overcome.

Wonder how many 0.5 vigilantes we have. I didn't notice a reason to attack Novice yesterday, unless it was a bit of backlash for the tongue lashing. However, if the SCUM can do 1.5 kills a night this will be a quick game.

However, I'm not entirely on board someone using their day power to circumvent the voting process. A little too much power in the hands of one person.

I agree with Bob, whoever attacked novice should stand up. I've been encouraging vig claims in all past games too, never happened

It seems like everyone has a minor power. The tricky question of course is whether or not SCUM have minor powers too. One would think so.

Remember, today 5 votes is enough to kill someone.

Anyway, I see no better target at the moment than Serdoa. His play yesterday was very scummish and his explanation unsatisfying.

I didn't use it on someone random I used it on novice which is a huge difference.

The last day and that Injera is dead now. Sareln is also a good possibility.

It's a moot point, though. You're obviously innocent, so there's no point in questing your motives or actions. I don't want to sidetrack the discussion, so I apologize. I would have waited to heal someone, btw.

Mixing the latter three ingredients, sprinkling it with liberal amounts of salt, he produced a nasty cocktail.

- Drink this, he said with a confident, reassuring voice.

Novice complied, and immediately barfed all over the closest bar stool.

Novice is no longer wounded. He was healed by Rowain.

Uh, what? I think it's quite likely that the SCUM have special minor powers as well- otherwise it would be awfully easy for us normal spacemen to just blow through our powers in a day or two and quickly win the game via process of elimination.



On an unrelated note, since we don't have time limits for the day phases, I suggest that anyone contemplating placing the kill vote on someone first announce their intentions here and then wait for at least a couple hours, to give the accused a chance to use their power and/or make a final case for their innocence. Or if the element of surprise is really important for casting the lynch vote, at least don't cast it within a few hours of the prior vote against the suspect unless you have a damn good reason to get someone killed & fast.
