Looks like it. Krill's in favor, WK abstained, and we haven't heard from HRE. That leaves 11 teams in favor of calling it.

Sunrise, if you could leave the game up and running for several days to allow everyone to post a final report, if they so desire? At least over the weekend?

Long live Avalon, the Unbroken Civilization.

Not that I think you're going to get enough people to agree to your suggestion to make a go of it Krill, but, after giving it some thought, I would reluctantly agree to the "Pick a preset date and try to resume then" idea, since everyone would know in advance that the timer would be rolling at that point, but only on one condition:

If the game bogged down like this again, we either call it, OR we just go on with the turns regardless of how many teams have missed playing them, or how many turns in a row any team may miss. At least a majority of teams would have to sign off on this, or I see no point in holding the unwilling hostage. (Yes, I realize how stupidly unbalanced this would make the rest of the game, but it would at least be concluded.)

If that were agreed to, then I'd change our vote to continue, otherwise, Maya officially vote for termination.

Would it be possible to set all the civs to AIs and see what would happen in the case we all quit?

I don't think that would give a good result. So much of this game is dependent on how the diplomacy works, not how well-off each individual civ is by itself.

I'm just curious what would happen if we let the AIs loose with our civs not get a representative result of what would actually happen.

Atleast it'd supply some amusing closure.

Or painful closure watching the AI butcher civ playing.

Ok I'm back, looks like that sub thing didn't really work out well... I don't mind continuing, but I don't think enough teams have their harts in the game, so I don't mind stopping either...
