You can:
Go to your LoL folder
Open up the RADS folder
Open up the system folder
Open up launcher.cfg with Notepad (right click, open with then choose Notepad)
Change the last 2 letters in Notepad which is 'eu' to 'na'.
Save it then close
Open up the launcher

Paraphrased from something on reddit. You can download another launcher for easier access, just different folder.

@Gustaran: Iunno. I have a leave, and if I remember correctly it was from a queue drop. Huh..

Metallian (Noobstar) had computer problems when Season 1 started, and would frequently crash during staging and during games. He got many leaves and lost tons of ELO due to all the accidental queue dodges. That's why he is something like +40 wins, yet has an elo around 1200 because you lose more elo from a queue dodge than you gain for a win (it's something like 20 elo for a dodge, and 13 elo change from a win or loss, after you play a bunch of games.

At some point, Riot actually had a one-time leave forgiveness, so most of the leaves were wiped from his account. At this point they may have changed it so you don't get a leave if you dodge, but still get the loss and elo reduction. I'm not sure about that; I have never dodged a ranked game.

Just judged my first ten Tribunal cases. I expected to punish just about everyone based on the YouTube vids I've seen, but actually ended up pardoning everyone except two. Most of the reports were bullshit. Those who dominate games seem to get easily reported by the enemy team for no reason at all. Another thing was people reporting for "intentional feeding" when the player is positive in kills and deaths. I mean, really? And one poor fellow had three reports in three games on him, two of them were from "verbal abuse" because he said "gg noobs" ONCE at the end of both games.

WOW. I only did the tribunal for about a week right after it came out, but my experience could not have been more different. All of the people were really obviously guilty (1 min in "screw this, I'm quitting") type stuff) in their first game, and there were lists of like 5-10 games of the same stuff wink

I wonder if Riot was releasing cases in order of total reports against the player, and all of the guys reported after every game they played have already worked their way through the system.

Well, not off to a good start, 1 multiplayer game in (against bots), 1 quit.

Thought 50 mins before work was enough time to fit a game in, it wasn't and so I had to quit out.

Also somebody locked Ashe before I entered and it was the only champion I half knew, so went Ezreal and got very confused about how to play him.

So, assuming Ashe will always go, who else free atm is worth learning? I guess Kayle?

I'd say Udyr and Akali. Shen and Singed are good tanks, but I'd imagine starting with a tank might not be the most fun way to start. Anyway don't worry too much about the strength of the characters, just play whichever you find fun. Almost every character is viable. I'd only avoid the stealth champs for now (Twitch, Eve, Shaco) because they are all nerfed to the ground until stealth mechanics have been tweaked. Kayle is supposed to get a rework soon as well.

Games take between 20 to 65 minutes. I've probably had like one game go beyond that. The tooltips say 3vs3 games are quicker, but in my experience it's the other way around.

Might be so. I'm now judging my second set and so far 3 pardons 0 punish.
This third one is just bullshit, let me post the FULL log by the reported person:

"ss"
"no"
"??"
"I got hit by ashe ult from base"
"ss"
"mia"
"mia"
"thanks ^__^"

Got reported twice for "Verbal Abuse".

Same guy also got reported in another game for being a smurf.

Strange, just got a case with just 1 game. He did feed in it, so I guess I gotta punish.

Lol someone went 33-3-10 with Master Yi. I'd probably talk smack at that point too.

Thanks, thought it was worth trying to learn 1 of each 'class' first, so didnt want somebody to similar to Ashe, nor somebody who relied on having decent runes to play.

Will read up on your 2 suggestions

Well the others you'll be playing with will also be newbs and mostly without runes, so it's a level playing field. Long-term my suggestion is to try out the free champs at first. When you find someone you really like playing, then buy him/her with IP so you can use the champ when it's not free. Ideally you'd have a couple of core champs you're really good with. But it's not worth spending IP on alot of champs early on or on some you don't like, because you need to be saving IP for Tier 3 runes which you can use after lvl20. As for learning one of each "class", it's a good idea for later on, but in low level games you won't be filling all the roles anyway. Jungler and support can be a bit counter-productive. Pure tank would be good for your team but expect to get alot of shit from players who don't understand what tanks do.
