Versatility is a very hard thing to quantify, but HAs have it and swords don't, and that's the main reason why you see one and not the other, I think.

The problem with swords vs everything else is that specialization is much more useful on defense than attack, since the defender gets to select his unit in response to the attacker. The balance of swords vs archers is about right, also swords vs HAs (you should be defending with some spearmen.) The problem is sword vs axe.
I'd support increasing the city attack bonus of swords, maybe even as high as 50% so they can compete with defending axemen. That's meant to be their specialized role, let them be good at it. And it's simpler to just tweak that number rather than sticking on CR promotions. Praetorians might need less, of course.
Um. So could we get an expedited bug fix version? Oracle thing is killing PBEMs.

T-hawk fixed it. I did a quick test in PBEM to see if it works and it looks like it does, but further testing is always appreciated. This is the only change in the mod.

May I direct you towards someone that actually knows stuff about code? I can't actually remember right now.
You can't change versions but you can change files as long as there is no admin password set. You can put in the new compiled CvGameCore.DLL from 2.0.3.6 on top of the old one within the 2.0.3.5 mod folder.
So is there a "next game" version planned? Only changes I know are making barracks double at 1,000yrs, and (hopefully?) C1 off of zerkers?
