I'd be fine with double lynch days, to get the game to more reasonable size quicker. It is quite a heavy read...

I was going to comment on D3, but I'm a little lost. I think I've done a worse job defending myself than in previous games, and it's not altogether surprising that it almost got me lynched combined with my defense of thestick. I would like to submit the following as arguments for my innocence:
1) I did nothing to divert attention from thestick D1 until it looked (late in the day) like an easy bandwagon was rising uncontested. At that point I jumped in with both paws, as I felt quite certain he couldn't be a wolf. Other players voiced the same disbelief after the lynch. 2) The suspicion on me yesterday seemed. to be strengthened by me being away. Several players commented on how I'd run off after being voted up, apparently not even noticing my post saying I'd be gone all day. 3) I was highly suspicious of Merovech. To the mafia, I imagine having the two of us on he lynch block was the ideal scenario for them as it gave max opportunities for playing us up against each other and possibly secure another mislynch the following day. They had a strong motive for getting us both up there, and they played it well. I have no idea if any scum were at risk, and I don't think much can be deduced from the voting pattern before/after Merovech's claim. x-posting with pindicator and uberfish, I was about to say the same thing. I recall uberfish being on my tail D1 and D2, and being annoyed that I aligned with his scum hunting theory D3. To clarify on the activity issue, I think I can be active enough to not detract from the game. I do apologize for this, and I agree with the sentiments that players should not sign up if they're not sure they can commit to it. I didn't mean to sign up for this one, and I probably shouldn't have. I also agree that 26 is a very player hostile game size. Way too much information to dig through raises the stress level and reduces the fun IMO.
Wtf pind, this is what you posted:
pindicator Wrote:Why didn't thestick vote Bigger? He just throws suspicion on him, but no vote. It's a question i haven't seen answered satisfactorily. If he was just overloaded, why bother to accuse Bigger and say he's looking suspicious? You can't say thestick wasn't a team player there because if he wasn't a team player it'd be total shut down. He wouldn't even both to cast suspicion on Bigger. So the wolves either ALL shifted to Bigger and were waiting for one more to join them so thestick could swap -- no, that's stupid; thestick should have been the first to switch because a self preservation vote is never doubted -- or none of the Bigger switchers are wolves because the wolves decided to let thestick go and try to cast doubt on the late day switchers / gain village cred. Early day Bigger voters could still be wolves if this were the case, but after the reveal ... but why would they switch if he doesn't vote? Maybe that theory doesn't hold up either, I'll have to look back at the end of Day 1 as well. Shouldn't this line of reasoning give you a town read on both myself and Catwalk? Why would me calling a town read on catwalk even be suspicious then? And how does it clear you? You moved to a 1-man vote on mero which could easily be an attempt to start pointing blame for the "attempt to save thestick" early.
My defense is earlier, btw, but I haven't re-read day 1, I'm just halfway through my Day 3 re-read now. But yes, I'm starting to lean you towards village just by this exchange. Obstinate, infuriating, and suffering from confirmation bias, but village. I don't think you would have fought back quite so hard when I called you on not reading my stuff unless you really thought you were right (even if it went against the evidence, but i guess I still need to convince you of that).
We both say that the wolves likely let thestick go and tried not to make suspicious votes. To me, if I wanted to not be suspicious I would not have moved my vote at all. If I wanted to save thestick, I would have voted Bigger. If I'm a villager who doesn't like the conformist approach of having to choose between two targets I don't like, I do what I did. Saving my thoughts on catwalk until i finish my re-read. Trying to also get day 3 onto the spreadsheet.

I'd really hate for the game to go up in flames - but I do have the sense that we have crossed some type of threshold for a reasonable # of players. Imagine the volume of posts if third of the players that are heavily lurking posted.
I've been able to follow along very closely most of the time - but haven't really be able to cut through to any strong reads lately. Naturally I want to give credit to participants and suspect the lurkers - but last game I topped post count deliberately.

Yeah, sorry about not being very available to post, but i dont think this game need die yet
Erebus in the Balance - a FFH Modmod based around balancing and polishing FFH for streamlined competitive play.
On the meta stuff, I don't see really how we balance stuff like multiple kills and multiple votes etc.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
Yeah it's probably unworkable and I do apologize to Brick for possibly stepping a bit too far into the meta realm. I'll leave mechanical solutions for the next game I run.
For my part in this game, assuming I'm not killed I will continue doing analysis but turn the intensity down a notch until the game reaches a more manageable size. And hopefully this'll make things easier for the low activity people to contribute and we all meet somewhere in the middle?
I was PMed asking for this, so here's my official results from end of Day 3
