Since RB chess tournament #1 is almost done, I wanted to ask if there is interest in doing another one?

Did you guys play all the games simultaneously last time? At 3d per move time control, expected it to take much longer.

yeah ... simultaneous games (ie. everyone play one game against each of the others at the same time), with opposite colors after first game is done for a total of two games against each opponent
the 3d time control is more a way of saying 'play when you have time' than its a 'play slowly' ... although its best if you take your time to think though the position

I have to point out an amusing fact.  Against everyone else the top 3 players only lost two games. There were no draws. 28-2-0. Ouch.
