Got it.
Awaiting report and your suggestions, but took a little peek.

I think we sell a tech to Isabella for her 210 gold, right? Theology is probably okay - very backwards.
We can also get Optics + 100 gold a WM from the Romans if we give them civil service, this is probably worth it? Don't know if Astro is any good on this map - haven't seen any isles - perhaps the roman maps can tell us something about them.
I messed a bit around and opened borders with pacal - extra trade routes took 1 turn off liberalism. But sitting bull isn't pleased about it, so I guess they can be closed again at some point.
Also I'll revolt to OR...there are few units being built, and since we're SPI we can always switch back and complete a bunch of builds. Many cities of ours have 4 hammers/turn, so they get the bonus from OR.

Quick question - I offered Hammy 10 gold as a gift - does this mean he can't attack us for some turns? I hope so.

I'll hopefully have the maceman untouched by my set - had enough war last set.

isabella - yes, we can sell her theology. she must have just gotten that cash, she didn't have much at the beginning of my turn

romans - im hesitant about selling civil service. right now only the mayans have maces, I don't want babylon or rome to get them too.

hammy just declared war on pacal (and tried to get me into the war) so probably that isn't necessary. Charlemagne is probably gearing up for us, though.

turn report ina few hours.

ok pictures.
Peace w/ Rome was easy to get:

as you can see, hammurabi is only lacking education for liberalism:

that amde me nervous enough to go shopping for gold:

shockingly, Isabella gave us open borders:

I found this oops:

I pillaged the iron, but was too lazy to remove the roads. Molach, you're going to need to go into worldbuilder to get rid of the roads in our newly conquered territory.

Charlemagne declared war on the mayans, not us, and tried to drag us into it:

probably could have accepted, since the mayans don't border us. but they had a few maces near us, so I declined.

this sucks, and is going to be hard to prevent:

we need to capture raze some babylonian cities soon frown

im building a temple here after the market for the extra (needed) happy, and also to hire a third priest to get that much needed shrine.

Sorry to hold it up this long, but I will play tuesday instead. No (or some hassle) taking pics and no .zip the file afterwards on this borrowed computer. Besides I'll have more time to think. Strategy and such things.

Hm, seems I forgot to specify which Tuesday I meant…at least summer is over now.

Turn 0:
Sell Philisophy to all civs for gold, world maps and optics. Except to Isabella, she gets theology instead, religious nutcase she is.

Decide not to open borders with Pacal after all.

Revolt from Theocracy to Org.Rel. I can always delay some military builds 4 turns.

Medina is our Moai city, it makes 4 hammers. So I guess we whip stuff and overflow into moai? There is a maceman in queue with hammers, however it was past 45 hammers left – so no gain really by whipping it. Spearmen cost 52 hammers, so build a spear for 1 turn – then 2-pop whip it for overflow into Moai should work for turning food into hammers.

Turn 1.
Isabella revolted into theocracy. Yeap, she went theology-crazy. Medinas borders popped.

Turn 2.
Pacal revolts into mercantilism. Hmm.
Apostolic vote comes up – stop war against Charlemagne. I have no idea. War is good, but not if they keep demanding that I join. So I decide to call in sick (abstain).

I whip the maceman, overflowing into Moai next turn, then gonna do a spearman for 1 turn. Then I’ll need to lay off the whip a while to regrow and de-unhappyify the town.

Turn 3.
Apostolic resolution succeeds! Even with me with my 2 electors staying home. Everyone votes to end the war.
Sitting Bull’s empire gives rise to the great spy “Hattori Hanzo”. Never noticed that name before…Hammurabi got a GP. Operation GP from our capital is going well – sped up the temple so I can run another priest there. Odds are 60% and slowly rising.

I realize revolting into Org.Rel for the +bonus on the overflow hammers was smart. Best way would be to be in theocracy, whip, then unit finishes with +xp, and revolt to Org Rel for the bonus on overflow. Something to think about. But a bit hard to set up with all these cities.

I am moving an axe, GG mace and a spearman towards our revolting city – see if they can help quell the disturbance. I do not like the flip mechanic – I think there should be something you could do to stop it. 1 unit can seize a city with 12 citizens – but 8 units can’t keep a size 1 city from rebelling? We should enable Martial Law or something, -50% everything in city, but no chance of flip.

Turn 4.
It gets interesting.
Hammurabi declares war…
[Image: htrs.jpg]

On Pacal. Yay. Pacal also finished Norte Dame, so go whip some cities, mister.

Turn 5.
Hammurabi build Dai Meow.

Overflew quite some hammers into Moai. One more spearman and we’re almost there. Can manually build the rest then.

Whipped a catapult in Baghdad, to overflow into a harbour. City was a 2 unhealth, no point in that. When we can draft, should be no more problem.

Capital started National epic. I feel this is the only place we have that can work specs, and it has some wonders as well. Problem is that we might get a Artist, which we might not want (even though it could be useful in warfare somewhere). But getting twice the GPP means we still win even if 20% of them become artists.

Turn 6-10:
Just moved forces into our Babylonian border city. Ship with 2 cats are on the way, 2 tiles away now (Moved them accidently turn 10). I set tech to 0% for a turn, so we could change our minds about what to Lib if needed.
