Realms Beyond (NFL) Fantasy Football 2014-15 - A Noble Fight

Since I don't want to do my homework, I thought I'd give people a standings update. There's still a bit riding on the MNF game (including bragging rights between scooter and myself )

Bringing back the rankings:

All of the 5-7 teams have lost, and Twinkletoes won, so it looks like it comes down to tie-breakers between 4 teams for the last playoff seed.

David Corporial: 1135.9 + 68.8 = 1204.7
Gaspar: 1114.7 + 93.5 = 1208.2
Dtay: 1038.7 + 63.2 = 1101.9*
Twinkletoes: 1045.3 + 133.2 = 1178.5

So Gaspar looks like he's managed to sneak in and gets to play me week 1. Which honestly has to be the last team I wanted to play against...

With Cheater Hater losing and sunrise winning, that means sunrise has the 3rd seed locked up. It also locks Cheater Hater into the 6th spot; they'll face off week 1 as well. (Edit: If Noble & Kuro end in a tie then CH will get the 5th slot and face Cyneheard.)

Cyneheard has the 5th seed locked up and could possibly get the 4th. (In order for Cyneheard to get the 4th seed he needs Noble to beat Kuro and he needs to have the Dolphin's D/ST score more points than Lamar Miller.) But he plays the winner of Kuro/Noble regardless.

The loser of Kuro/Noble will end up in the 7th seed and have to face scooter in the first week of the playoffs.

Fun fact: I beat Pindicator by just 2.6 earlier in the season (I believe it was decided on a last minute TD of some sort), and he's currently beating me by just 1.9, which means between the two games there was less than 1 point difference. I still have a guy left to play, but banking on a backup Dolphins TE owned in only 7% of leagues (Dion Sims) to score at least 2 points is not exactly a gimme. He's topped that total only 4 times all season .

It looked like Julius Thomas was going to play, and then I had to yank him at the last minute. I'm just going to assume he's resting up for the fantasy playoffs.

I'm fortunate to make it in if that's how it all works out because I definitely got back on my terrible start/sit decision horse again this week - I have 90 points on the bench this week with 2 more still to play.

Nonetheless, I'll take it.

I swear, I'm cursed in the playoffs.

This is the 4th year I've played fantasy football. My lifetime playoff record is about to go to 0-10
