A couple minutes of research and I found the "canned response" lab on Gmail. I set up a filter on the tracker that automatically replies "Whoops! You forgot the attachment " when it receives an email from me without an attachment. I can set that up for all of you as well in 30 seconds, I just wanted to ask first ... I don't see why this should ever be an issue though, as all emails from any of us to the tracker should always have a save attached.

My fault - they suggested adding a line to only forward emails with an attachment, although I did not see the utility of that. I defend not adding it though:

You would have still sent the message and it would not be sitting in your outbox, and the receiver would not have any notification at all. So it would just sit with you having thought you sent it and the receiver still waiting on it assuming it had not been played. This way at least the receiver understands that the turn has been played and can respond quicker should you forget to add the attachment.

I didn't think of adding a you forgot to add the save auto reply, but I didn't think it would be that much of an issue! :P

I completely agree with this. It is much better for the email to get forwarded even without the attachment, otherwise we would have lost the day for sure.
