Yeah, whatever. It doesn't really matter to me. I don't even remember if there are any benefits/disadvantages to where you are in the turn order for a PBEM game, since it's been so long since I've played one.

I think it's the same as in Civ4, player earlier in turn order wins wonder races (that's the big one) and "first to" bonuses (the only one I can think of in Civ5 is early adopter tenets in ideologies, previous games didn't get that far anyway...)

I tried to do the same thing and got the same result. On the other hand I found myself using the name next to the "community" tab : "adrien.fekete". Similarly I could only find you through "search the community" by using the yuri.str name.

Right. That's me being confused actually. I needed to use my Steam username (yuris125) to sign in to GMR, so thought that's the name I used from everyone. But it actually adds me to the game using the community name (yuri.str), so that's the name to search for in GMR. Confusing doesn't start to describe it smile

Anyway. I can find you on GMR using adrien.fekete. So should be all sorted smile

Hopefully it's not much trouble for chumchu to fix the turn order, and we will be good to go tomorrow

Yeah, GMR didn't find you by ncarpathia. It does find you if I search for Nicolae, so not a problem. Just need a new save

So, at this point we're waiting on a new save from Chumchu, right?

Should I have an invite on GMR at this point Yuri? I still don't have one.

On a related note, my GMR client still shows me in PBEM2 from 2013 (and that it's my turn!). Anyone know how I can get this notification to go away?

Looking forward to starting up! Chumchu, thanks so much for making the map smile You da' real MVP.
