GG all!

I think I may have actually overexpanded in the early game and having to commit too much to get back in economically and therefore unable to take a slice of Gingereagle when Adrien went in ... of course Cataphracts and our long border discouraged me from taking too many risks. My biggest mistake (other than not landing Mining Inc.) was probably the decapitation of Picklepikkl without being able to pursue a full invasion, which ensured that if there was ever going to be a 2v1 it would be against me.

But I have to ask Adrien; why no AP? When I reached Theology I concluded you had too large of a headstart for me to try to compete and there were better things to build. It was only much later (after it wasn't worth it) that I realised you never actually completed it and the Monk trio went entirely unused! crazyeye

I didn't have many temples and monasteries so I figured going monk economy was too expensive. The spiral minaret is also at divine right which I planned to avoid completely.

There's also the fact that I had to build units to eat GE and couldn't spare the hammers.

In hindsight the MVP is probably mining inc with its headquarters in my wall street capital. And I can't even take credit for that strategy because I just happened to land a GE close to my cap at the right time and realized that corps could be efficient.

Yeah I think Mining Inc. was the difference between a tense race to Space and forcing the early end ... my early lack of priority on The Pyramids kept coming back to bite me!
